    If Teleport is "make or break" for you dying or not, you need to explore an option of getting more toughness. Mirror Images is good for getting you out of stuff like Jailer and Frozen. But if those things are killing you instantly, then yes its a problem. Either grab some more toughness where you can or lower your difficulty. Ideally if you objective is to obtain gear, you should be farming on the highest difficulty possible while not sacrificing your efficiency. Make sure you're not spending more than a couple of seconds on elite packs. If Meteor: Molten Impact isn't pretty much 1-shotting the elites, you're on a difficulty that is too high for your gear/weapon. I know you said you have a low damage weapon right now, so that may be your main issue at hand. Since crafting was changed and a lot more accessible, if you have the pattern for either of the %fire weapons, look to craft those.

    Why are you running elemental exposure? You can only get fire damage out to get 5% of the maximum 20%. Kind of a waste of a passive here. I know how you feel about not being able to spend arcane power. Your alternative in a build like this is to run Explosive Blast: Chain Reaction, Meteor: Meteor Shower, or Energy Twister: Gale Force. The Arcane Orb: Scorch ability is god awful to say the least. To help with your Meteor: Molten Impact you can run Black Hole: Blazar to get them grouped up long enough for the impact to hit and get off some or most of the DoT from the meteor.

    Another alternative you can try to spend arcane power if it really bothers you that much is Wave of Force: Heat Wave. This ability scales even better with APOC and resource cost reduction. While the Meteor: Molten Impact route benefits a good bit from CDR.

    It's a current form of "end game gear chase". They probably don't want people to get rings like candy like when it had 100% drop chance on MP10. I think they left the drop chances really low for these rings to be something to grind for. If you don't like the concept of grinding for the ring, don't do it. They have just as much of a chance to be good as any other ring you pick up or craft. RNG is RNG.

    i didnt change anything while the servers were offline. nice observation though. literally from when i logged out and logged back in, nothing changed but the patch. and my FO is hitting for less... dunno what to tell you

    Frozen Orb does less damage overall and i feel like the base damage of it was reduced as well. Pre patch mine was critting for over 12m and now i don't see any numbers over ~8m.

    Only 500? I'm up to nearly 20,000 shards collected. Over 15,000 of which have been spent on belts and I've only seen two legendary belts. Granted I've had AMAZING luck with Kadala and sources. But 2 legendary belts out of ~3,000?? It's become very frustrating trying to get a Witching Hour =(

    mirrorball is godly. in my set up, for single target, magic missile does more than arcane orb. single target only.

    That's convenient. They didn't touch the quality/quantity of loot in chests. They only altered what was popping out of Demonic Vessels. So, either they introduced a bug (in which case it should be reported through proper channels and not via a whine post on a fansite) or all you're experiencing is a confirmation bias.

    If a reduced density in chests on some maps has ruined your fun in rifts then you really need to get some perspective... they just gave a pretty large buff to legendary drops in rifts, so that should MORE than counterbalance any nerf to chests. But, hey, I love when someone who is clearly exaggerating calls someone else slow because they're not acting like the world is ending.

    My rifts still feel plenty rewarding.
    Rifts as a whole have felt less than rewarding to me. I'm pushing 300 rifts completed and over 15,000 blood shards earned and still have LOTS of things that need upgrading.

    Fwiw, i just put it on my WD to see what the proc is like, its EXACTLY like the andy's proc and has an INSANELY small range.

    I've done a good bit of game play with the Shard of Hate on a wizard and I feel like its an "OK" weapon to have, its very good for low torment farming in a lightning build, Electrocute - Arc Lightning. If you get right up into melee range and all the procs hit the same target(s), its an insane amount of damage. But this comes at the cost of not having an amazing lightning dump if you go full on % lightning stack on your gear. I feel like an Azurewrath with at least 18% or higher cold damage heavily outweighs Shard of Hate, for a Frozen Orb build. As Jaetch said, the cold proc is good damage but a ridiculously small hit box. The lightning proc is ok, but you have to be right in the middle of everything to get good use out of it.

    TL;DR:
    Use whatever weapon gives you the most damage for your build, don't use this on a Wizard for the proc alone, you can't utilize it all that well. Not like a Barbarian or Monk can.

    On a positive note, I can put my Int Shard of Hate on my Barb alt as an ok off-hand lol.

    if you originally selected the damage roll and rerolled it already. its a broken weapon, if it doesnt have a socket already. thats the sad state of the game. if you havent actually rerolled it and are just asking the question, then youre safe. maybe your weapon doesnt have any other primary stats it can even reroll. missing lots of info here. link a picture of the dagger, would help tons

    if your reroll is showing that you can only get Damage 1000-1xxxx you chose the wrong thing to reroll. youre trying to reroll off the damage roll to your weapon, so if you rolled that to a socket, your weapon would be 100% useless. but as it is now, since you locked that in as the stat you can reroll, its already uesless. sorry, but you wasted your weapon
