And yes I could see how my lack of communication could be misconstrued in the first case, but again two of the three guys were with me fighting (and it takes three to kick), so that is why I was really confused. Next time I join a game and they are fighting ubers I'll make sure to communicate what my intentions are and ask if they have an issue with it. At the same time, rather than cuss me out, the guy could have asked nicely instead of just kick. That's the part that I really don't get, is why people just auto-kick.

To answer the one poster, I was using my Archon Wizard who is plvl 64 in an MP8 game. I think he does around 160-180k dps, I don't really pay that much attention.

So I am a little confused as to why I was kicked and instead of actually informing you before kicking you from a game, people feel much more powerful to vote kick and then hurl insults at you, not really telling you what is wrong. Maybe this place can help me out. This was consecutive games, so it really threw me for a loop as I have never been kicked out of a game before.

Game 1: I join "Monster Slaying" game and there are two others in the game doing Ubers. I decide to go to get my five stacks and if they continue to do more Ubers I could join them. So I head out to Defiled Crypt and start killing, pretty immediately they both die, and someone else joins the game. I am in the middle of a mob of around 40 or so skeletons, when they decide to retry. I cancel as I don't have five stacks and am in the middle of this fight. They go to Uber battle (not sure if the new dude joined them or not), and they die pretty quick again. Two of the guys join me in Crypt and then I get the message that I am kicked. Some Maximeelius guy says "Why join a game if you aren't going to fight <obscenity> <obscenity> <obscenity> <obscenity> <obscenity> " I only have ten seconds to type and say I was working on stacks, why the kick when others are with me? Booted. Really confused by that one as the other two (one of whom JUST joined) were with me...

Game 2: Four of us are battling in Hollow and we have a Barb and WD that are leading the group. They are leaving behind half dead groups so I work on cleaning them up. Then I run to catch group, they leave half the group behind, rinse repeat. Then I get booted, for no reason, no explanation whatever? I am guessing they thought I was solo, even though I was with the group the whole time. Not like I was half a map away or anything. At least I didn't get a screen of obscenities with that game.

I'm not super upset, just really confused and wondering what I might have done wrong. I can accept that it was my fault, I just wish people would really communicate better. A simple, "Nate if you don't do X, we are going to kick you" would suffice, rather than a boot with no explanation. I have done that a few times when people are going solo, and they usually either leave the game or join up with the group.

Like I said, it's the first time(s) i have been kicked, so I'll chalk it up to RNG or something but I have also noticed that the public games in the last few weeks have been really bad. Lots of aggressive behavior and cussing at people. I'm really not liking what is happening. If this is what we have to look forward to in RoS, I think it should stay as is.

I'm only four hours into it, but so far it's great!

Don't limit to just viewing the buyout prices. Check a few that don't have buyout prices to see if they are getting bid on and at what price.

You can still sell it, of course, you're better off starting the sale off with a tiny starting bid and see how far it goes.

I just sold a trifecta ring (53 dex, 63 vit, 6 ias, 3 crit chc, 19 crit dam, 71 loh) for 23M. I have had it up for about two weeks and have been dropping the price daily.

Wouldn't getting to paragon level 100 "accomplish something". Some people set different goals, some financial - such as 100M gold (or 1M gold). Some to beat Inferno with all five classes, maybe get all achievements, hardcore, now there will be monster power and creating that hellwhatever ring. Really there are a lot of things to "accomplish" in the game if you so desire. But if you aren't having fun in the game, don't play or take a break. Maybe some time off will let you enjoy it again in a few weeks/month(s).
