what bothers me, what happens with accounts that have number of characters, each with paragon levels, but none of them with para100? Even in summ of plevels not 100.
also i don't understand - only levels shared? Or what you pick (which abilities\perks you pick) are separate choices for all characters? Because you know, if you have 10 characters (12 with addon) you probably dont need every spare point spent towards 1-2 stats, while you playing characters with 3 different main stats (also you probably dont need str if you play dex\int based characters same ammount of time.)

Congratulations, you're a text book example of exactly what the person you quoted is talking about.

Fact of the matter is that its currently hip and cool to hate on D3, so these 2 will get a lot of "likes" and "follows". I'm not just talking about real criticisms of real problems, I'm talking about 95% of people who complain about the game on forums are going out of their way to make things up just to be upset and negative about.
What I don't really get is the game is $60 dollars, has no subscription and has no micro-transactions. A typical game will give you anywhere from 40-80 hours of game play (guesstimate) and then its over. People like these guys have hundreds if not thousands of hours into D3, and then they talk about how much of a garbage game it is and whatnot. How do you put 100s of hours into a game if its "one of the biggest failures ever"?
And then to compare D3 to PoE is laughable. I can't directly criticize PoE because it is free to play, so it is what it is, but compared to D3 the game is rubbish.

PoE is such a poor game to actually play (the combat) that about the only thing they have to hang their hat on is "we'll put everything into our game that people complain about D3 not having".
The "problem" with ask the devs is that people expect it to be "Tell the Devs what to do and they will respond with exactly what you want to hear".

at least 1 new class (hoping for melee, strength based necromancer class), maybe a second class
no increased level cap. This would make all current items have no value, unless they actually wanted to reset the economy (which may not be a bad thing if they have some good plans to improve it).
No expansion of group size, I think 4 is right for this game personally.
new variety of gems/items to use in sockets.
Something that serves the same function similar to horadric cube that allows you to spend a resource to reroll an item, to add effects to existing items (maybe +1 modifier per item). For example allow a player to spend a legendary + 25 demonic essence to reroll that legendary....include star emerald to guarantee an agility roll. Or item + star amethyst adds permanent vitality bonus to the item. Modified items become bind to account instantly. New items in the game that are only used in the "cube" to add modifiers to weapons/armor

Drops are not dynamically effected by the AH (i.e. an item isn't more or less likely to drop based on how many are or aren't on the AH), but they have said that they tuned drops around the existence of the AH. Which makes you question how Jay Wilson can say something like "we didn't expect that most people would even use the AH" when drops in the game were tuned from the beginning based on the existence of the AH. Just another example of how clueless he is/was.

But...but....its created by David Brevik! The lead visionary behind Diablo 2!!
(please ignore the fact that Diablo2 was released 13 years ago and he hasn't been a part of a single successful game in the mean time.)
