BL is decent but I think its decent in tight spaces where u dont have run to the mobs too much and stuff....like even with the density changes running BL seems akward in Fields of Misery compared to Keeps 2.But the dmg is decent and at the same time the proc coefficient of TC is way better , more aoe , more cyclones. They need to revisit the FoT skil and either the teleport as baseline ( dunno if it might make it "op" or anything ) or just make some damn changes, they keep saying they like where monks are an yea we are in a good place dmg wise and stuff but in terms of skills and passives we dont have that much.

Yea the "Speed Palm" build brought some flavour to the FoT Cyclone spec but I think that's just a logic progression from the 3 defensive etc spec which was what everyone was using for a while until people with stupid amount of gold had the gear to stop using serenity and get rid of even more defensive abilities.

I personally do not fancy bell build, I mean its fun , the bell skills itself, but I just hate not teleporting while using quickening, I know lots of people love it but for me it doesnt do much.Still think adding teleport as baseline would make people actually test other stuff out, I would play with BL a lot more just for the sake of it, if it had teleport. And the dodge rune needs reworking or removed, cause there is no logic behind using that rune atm when with a 1M budget build u can do MP0-1 with your eyes closed. Not to mention the most useless rune in TC which is that Static charge, I think the idea behind the skill was interesting at first but it just doesnt work with how the game is now where u melt everything constantly.

Do only stupid people get drops?I mean every 2bil fip I see on AH are of items that are clearly worth 4-20bil. And apparently I'm very bad at uploading images.

I like the concepts but I would rather have PvP be smth very casual and the PvE aspect of it made godly.

Are people in this thread trolling or smth? What dont u understand about buffing the legendaries? They want to make for example, weapons tthat have very little dmg but would promote others builds, viable. How is that buffind dps. Like that dagger, KiLL, that thingy with some good stats on it and that inherent +1 crit%, I would love to use that dagger, but not like it is now.

Yea mean u can get the tal with high vit np.Either go for one with dex and high vit or just with high vit and % life and make it a mini inna chest with IAS.Check prices on AH and see what you can get.Get at least 200 vit on it, and like 5% life.

Yea double LS is needed for high MPs.Tho like a lot of others do, I have two Won Kim Laus , one with LS and one with CD and I switch when I see reflect pack, cause other than that its not really needed if you have enough EHP.But you will do that when u get more gold, for now two decent LS rares, or a good snipe on a LS Won Kim Lau will be ok.

500 REsist is ok, I mean depending on your MP. I'm a physical monk ( since 1.0.0=) ,dunno what's wrong with me , and luck has it that my crafted bracers have physical ) and If I play low MP I just go there with like 300 all res and 640 physical and Im just fine.

Now if u want to go High MP with 500 resist, u would need to have good HP 45k+ and some armor ( Vile wards + some random armor on another piece, tho that is not mandatory, vile wards should sufice. ) and more dps. With your current gear I'm guessing u can do MP5 comfortably, as MP7 reflect dmg would demolish you atm and stuff like plague.

If u want to stick with Inna Helm, just get a high vit Tal Chest. Now depending on your HP, u should either get one with no dex and high vit + maybe some life% or with dex and high vit.

Well as he said u can get a Tal chest.Attacking faster is always better and its pretty cheap.I hate being bellow 50k HP so I replaced my Inna chest with a double vit + life percent Tal Chest, and buy Inna pants with VIT they are so good.U can get a pretty good deal on 130-140 vit ones, depending on how much u are willing to spend.

HArd to say with your budget tbh.You could try and get a better oh, like with 100+ dex and LS.Just search AH and see what you can buy for your budget.Or as you said get a Won Kim Lau with LS and decent %Lightning ; like 22%+ with 790+dps, and yes its good.

Another thing you can do is get a Mempo without CC but with double dex roll.Like 220-240.They are very good and as long as you can keep 45+cri% u are ok.Dont underestimate the noncrit mempo.I really think for budget builds in general, non crit mempos are very very efficient and give you tons of stats.( either that or Sweeping wind Inna helm ) U have nats ring with CC which makes getting that mempo an easier choice since u wont lose so much crit.

If you do go Mempo do not get Tal Chest, and rather go for a VIT inna chest like 190+.Ofc that's depending on how much money u have left as u can get 240 vit ones for like 20-30 mil. If u do go Inna chest with double vit, consider getting Nat's boots with double resist. Its more efficient than going for 70 vit.I would say go for vit nats boots when u have higher end gear and can get the 220+ dex ones.

It might be but I to be honest lately since upgrading my gear I very rarely die.Sure I dont stand my ground like 100% of the time. But for me personally I would get bored fast of absolutely never having to move.Plus the build is not set in stone, u can user serenity instead of blind. The build is going to work. The whole point to the speed palm build is to have the 2 generators, especially blazing fists and combination strike with Exploding palm. The rest u can move around.

I mean I dont know how glass cannony it is since I can tank some horde plague reflect dmg face2face np.Yea sure its not as defensive as yours but meh, to each his own.Another thing that is cool about the build is that with the right gear,I'm like at 260k buffed I can just put exploding palm, blind + overawe and in a matter of seconds the pack is dead so I dont really need to stand my ground since everything basically blows up pretty darn fast. But I get what you are saying.

^ Nice monk for TR but I would ditch Wall of Light and get Empowered rune you get more damage per point of spirit spent that way.And try and get enough spirit regen that u can run with Submission.Could maybe use more all res but im guessing you are doing just fine in low MP. Would love to have your bracers even without the vit .

I'm sorry buddy but you are dead wrong. The guy has gear for MP7-8.Mitigation wise he is wher ehe needs to be.He has more armor then me.His resist are more than ok for that.Double LS 180k+ dps and he cant do MP5?Im sorry but u saying its not a skill issue is quite stupid.

I didn't say it wasn't a player-skill issue. I agree that his gear appears more than fine for MP 5-8. His gear is about the same tier as mine, upper mid-grade at best.

I was suggesting that perhaps he's being killed too often, and whatever the reason, there are build choices that can compensate for whatever the issue may be.

Unlike some, I'm not quick to call others "stupid" or to label them as bad players. I was trying to help him, not insult him. Let's just say I was being delicate and trying only to be constructive in giving advice. The build I showed above is a build I rarely use, but thought I'd share the idea with him in case it may help.

Everybody has packs and sometimes is not paying attention or gets vortex into shit and they die, even INVIS does it.What does that have to do with him , stats wise, being heavily overgeared for MP3 and clearly ready for MP7 AT LEAST? And please do tell me where im being dishonest.Facts are facts; he is ready but only gear-wise.

Again, I agree that he's massively overgeared for MP-3. I'm really no better geared and I can sleepwalk through MP 5.

As for the "dishonest" remark, I apologize. I wasn't actually meaning to direct that at you or insinuate that you're a liar or anything of that sort. I only meant to imply that it would be dishonest to suggest that many of the trappings offered by high-MP Elites don't cause unavoidable deaths.

I've heard far too many people talk shit like they're un-killable and then while playing with them they die....a LOT. Not saying you're one of them.

Well I died a lot more often until I got two LS weapons and ditched echoing fury, now only exploding fatties and hard packs kill me, or when im being very over confident about tanking arcane beams/plague/molten.

I mean he could go the old safe build of Blazing Wrath / Blind \ serenity / Mantra / FoT TC / Cyclone and be done with it.That's like ..you cannot die with that build with his gear.Tho I think it would be a bit of a stretch to get BW with 2 LS weapons.

Dunno I dont like to label people, but with that gear he has you have agree with me when u have that kind of gear and u got issues in Mp3+ something is wrong and its not the build, or at least that';s the first thing that pops in your head.

I mean I run the speed palm build, no serenity no nothing.Hell I stack physical res so ( doing so since 1.0.0 cause of some drops grrrr, hell my crafted trifecta bracers have phys ) I sometimes go without OWE and have 640 phys and rest 310 and im doing just fine on MP8.So with a defensive build he should be dying very very rarely.
