To start this off, i only have about a 5m budget at the moment, so i'm assuming i could probably only get a few small upgrades or one decent one..
looking at my profile, i'm curious as to what you guys think might be the best all around things to get to improve dps. i can farm act 2 with little effort. And act 3 I can do with a few deaths here and there. I also realize that I'm not running the standard build with explosive blast and teleport. I could drop spectral blades for teleport. But i sorta want to keep hydra for the dps for fleeing mobs, but yeah.
I'm sure it's dumb luck like most people have stated. However, on server 58 (i think it was) with no mf from gear and pargon level 5 on my wizard I did get a Sun Keeper on my second pack of elites.
again, i appreciate the replies mate. tryin to get up my discipline also, picked up a quiver with + disc on it. that way i dont run out of disc super fast and am screwed. I also am not going the Loh route, close to 400 resists all, now i need to just get some good selling gear and get my dps up so as to use MF in conjunction.
oh one more query, what is your preferred build? right now im using hungering-devour, lightning elemental, and rain of vengengeance stampede for alittle more control on mobs
yeah i kind of figured that with enough dps act 2 might simply perform better because as you said, losing 15k dps for MF is still really nothing.. right now my biggest drawback is that i have low hp (22K) so some of the white mobspiders in zoltuns area can one shot me. Need to save up or get lucky in terms of drops and get some superb upgrades. right now my shoulders belt and pants are whats mainly holding my dps back.

right now im roughly 50kdps (no ss) around about 30-355 crit, 294crit dmg.
do have a nats 4pc however the boots and helm are fairly ghetto. right now i can farm act 2 with minimal deaths (still getting used to the disc regen, only had 4pc for 2 days.
