Well i took some of the suggestions in this thread. im up to about 175K dps unbuffed, 200k buffed with BR. elites die much faster. im going to run a hota/ww variant. might just switch full on to a HOTA build, it really seems like a fun play style.
edit just noticed i bought a fire damage SoJ instead of a cold damage one. oh well.
I'll try some of this out. for now, i kind of want to stay with dual wielding. So for now i want to look into different weapons.. Mainhand Str Crit Socket LS %damage (preferably black damage). Offhand EF with LS/Socket?
as for my other pieces, i should probably just start crafting Spads bracers and ammys so i have them ready, i guess.

If youre into simming stuff then perhaps you should take your eyes off the damn DPS gained/lost text and actually see how the crit damage loss/average damage increase will affect your main ABILITIES. Normally the values of Strength and Average damage is very similar, but because youre using weapons with the %damage stat the value of Average damage instantly increases by an equal amount, this is something d3rawr and the ingame calculator has no idea about.

Thanks for the info about D3Rawr, i wasnt aware of that limitation in the site. i'll keep that in mind. can you estimate for me what Rubied mainhand would do to my dps (not paperdoll dps. i do know that paterdoll dps is essentially meaningless, whitch is why i brought up tDPS in my last post.)
If you want to be super creative a better but harder to find choice would be to get very defensive pants and a Tyrael's Might. This will increase your output the most.

Please understand that attack speed is only a support stat like life steal, it only makes you generate hp back faster which makes it easier to survive Molten, Plagued etc. The stat comes no where even close to the values of Strength, Crit, Crit dmg, Elemental damage or Average dmg
Attack speed is an Offense stat. not a support stat. it makes you generate back HP faster through life steal because it is bringing your DPS up. (for me currently each point of attack speed is worh about 1k dps, whereas a point of Crit chance is worth 1600k dps and Crit Damage is only worth 218 a point (5 points of CD worth around 1 AS, and 7 pts of CD for 1 CC. that said. obviously getting 50CD is a hell of a lot easier than getting 50 AS or 50 crit.). IAS also hits Breakpoints for tornadoes, and nadoes are the primary damagesource for WW barbs.
There is a very big difference in SHEET dps and actual dps output. Items like Stone of Jordan and abilities like Brawler might not raise your ingame calculators DPS number but trust me your actual dps will skyrocket because of them. Same things goes for gems, use a Ruby in your main hand and a Emerald in your offhand.

If you want to be smart about your purchases your looking for a combo that uses:
Immortal King's Chest -- 160str, max vitality Immortal King's Head -- 180str 65 all resistance immortal King's Gloves -- Max strength, max crit dmg
Inna's Pants -- Choose between Strength, vitality or all resistance Zunimassa's Boots -- 80str, 65vit, 50all res, 8 poison dmg Witching Hour -- Max strength, max crit dmg Stone of Jordan -- 30 elite dmg, 6 cold dmg, ability bonus does not matter
Crafted Bracers -- Very high strength, 5-6 crit and either high vit or all res required Crafted Amulet -- Max strength, max crit dmg Crafted Shoulders -- High strength, both vit and all res are required
Life Steal on BOTH Weapons -- Crit dmg, socket and life steal on both.
Basically what that combination builds on is that instead of spreading every stat you want everywhere (which makes your items cost a shitload more) you choose a few defensive slots and get everything from there which allows you to compensate with multiple glass cannon slots.
Interesting. i've heard about the benefit of Inna pants before. but everything i've read says only once you have a retarded amount of damage. would this gear you've suggested hit that point?

this directly conflicts with something i've allways heard, whitch is to craft "Of Vitality" shoulders, because spads of str can at most roll 200 vit 330 str... whereas vit spads can get a 330 vit 300 str roll. this makes "of Vit" a gain of 100 stat points.

Welp rly diddnt want to say, but i sold a 6 crit chance dex mempo. my budget is conservativly around 1 billion (inb4 omg you diddnt sell that for a bill did you?!?!: no i sold it for a bit over 2 billion, but i want to hold some of my gold i got from it back, and sell on the RMAH to recoup some costs from wow timecards and buying Diablo 3 :3)

Edit: About the skorn. If you get a good one you don't really need to spin to win anymore. It's rend to win
Edit x2: rend is all about hitting like a truck(crit chance/damge, avg damage, and str. Attack speed is not nearly as important any more)
What stats would you recommend looking for on a skorn? Str in the 300 range, CC in the 180 range, but for the Random do i want LS or something else?
As you can see from my gear, Attack speed has been something i've been aquiring. due to that, should i look into a HOTA build instead of a rend build? i've seen some guides of HOTA builds doing pretty solid damage. would HOTA work allright with 2 x 1h, as long as i brought my OH's damage up?
i have a semi-cheap skorn in my bags, it only provides a 4k dps upgrade, and the nado tick rate drops drastically meaning it seems more of a dps Loss to use the skorn, at least the one i currently have.
Saturday night i sold the most amazing item I've ever found and come into a windfall of gold larger than i ever thought possible.
I want to upgrade my barbarian from the ~130k DPS range unbuffed up more toward the 200k Dps range, Unbuffed.
Currently im running WW with Rend instead of a fury generator.
i generally farm scorps and Skeletons in KD2/AC2 on MP10.
