posted a message on How to Carry as a SUPPORT MONK

    Hello Monks,

Although I do not often make monk guides, support monk is something I'm quite familiar with as in the past I always ran a support monk in the group and played with one of the best monk players on the US servers that some of you may remember (scrapz) and we often discussed optimization for support monk in the past.

Here's my optimization for support monk for TX speed farming with the incorporation of Magic Find.

    Enjoy and Happy Hunting

What made you decide to go for the Raekor 4-set? With In-Geom cubed it doesn't seem like the cooldown on FC would be a problem even without merciless assault and dreadnought, and you don't need the freeze CC, so all you're really getting is the damage from battering ram rune/2set and the fury from stamina rune. The new shoulders and a gavel of judgement would help mitigate the issue with fury if you choose battering ram, or vile ward would help with damage if you choose stamina, and you'd be able to cube a better jewellery effect or keep the RORG and use a better helm.

Is it just that you're blowing stuff up this fast anyway so it's better to have the safety net on your FC usage in case you get a bad rift and can't sustain In-Geom?

yes the 2nd charge on raekor is a huge difference in speed clearing
in my next video I'm uploading you can see me in speed group run and most times the barbs that are running pure 6 IK lag behind greatly
both work fine, I personally prefer the hybrid

I'll be spending a decent amount of time on the Barb once all PTR changes are in place and IK set is fixed.

Here's a video where I go through the Kanai's Cube for the Barb class for now

The Rimeheart combo unfortunately will most likely not work because of the changes to CC in the current PTR's patch.

Unless there are changes to how CC immunity works on mobs, the freeze effect of Blessed Hammers just doesn't perform well enough for rimeheart procs to be a thing.

    Hi Guys,

I'm sure there will be time to re-visit old builds and setups, but most likely will focus on the new set to kick things off.

posted a message on PSA: Just to clear some confusion

I hate myself for coming back and checking on this thread but I find it amusing that people care more about the fact that I got banned than myself and are being so critical about the whole situation.

Guys, It's a video game period. If you are getting so worked up about the fact that there are exploits in D3 and that I "Cheated" then you seriously need to turn the computer off and get some fresh air. There's more to life than "Competitive D3" and the "integrity of D3".

Diablo 3 literally has ZERO competition.

With that said, as the discussion of this thread has reached 100+ responses (did not expect), I would like to add a few things.

    1. PTR Testing

PTR 2.2 I played it very extensively, a lot of the changes of the PTR I didn't agree with but hey does Blizzard ever respond to community feedback by anyone? No, so I never really expect much from them and gave up on trying to provide good feedback to this team a long time ago.

I was not aware of the exploit during PTR, believe me if I knew about it I would've blown the lid on it much sooner.

    2. Season 3

When patch 2.2 released and this is me being honest here (you can believe me or not) I seriously felt that it was a responsibility for me to play Season 3 as a Barbarian despite not wanting to play an extremely underpowered version of the character that I already extensively played on PTR.

Most of the pressure to continue into Season3 was the very fact that I was a "streamer" and streaming the game for my community who had been closely following my guides/information looking forward to the patch. In a sense I felt that it was my responsibility to these people to stream season 3 and update information that may be outdated now.

I honestly felt like it was becoming some sort of "chore" or "work" making sure to get my hours in on the stream and continue to answer questions and provide information to the community.

I am NOT a full-time streamer, this is NOT my occupation. I stream occasionally when I play the game and that's it.

Despite all that I streamed consistently in the mornings anyways and tried to make most of the situation and try to come up with new things to try to keep not only myself but my followers/viewers/community entertained.

Obviously I'm not going to stream daily and say this game sucks, I hate the patch changes and etc. every morning I streamed but there were definitely a few mornings where you can easily tell I was frustrated with the whole situation.

This is not the first time I quit Diablo3 and stopped streaming despite being a "popular d3 streamer". This just happens to be the only season that I was forced to quit before I quit myself, that is really the only difference to me.

Call it what you want, I'm a cheater/exploiter bla bla bla. Frankly I really could care less, I play this game when I want to play it and I stream it to people who want to watch it. To me it's just a video game and it just so happens that there are some people out there who really enjoy my perspective on this game.

If this game had any resemblance of a competitive scene and my actions would've hurt the community then I probably would've taken different actions and been more responsible as a "streamer" of the game. Frankly, D3 has none of these things and is just a ARPG where you kill things for amusement and will be nothing more than that with the approach that these devs are taking.

    3. Quitting / Streaming

For those of you who actually follow my stream and content you were already quite aware that I was planning on quitting Season3 maybe a month or two into the season when it becomes extremely stagnant and there is literally nothing to do but 4 man XP farm and look for 0.0000001% drop chance items.

Not sure why it's hard for people to understand that I already had 0 plans of playing out the entire 4 month season and that I was already planning on quitting.

The banning of my account just happened to hasten the process and I've decided to just quit now, a week into the season.

I know a lot of you guys may watch people like datMODZ or Quin69 who are rolling in donations and seem like they are making all the monies via streaming D3.

Let me make something crystal clear for you guys, I literally make less than I would working at Mcdonalds on minimum wage when I stream Diablo 3 if not for a handful of people who continue to give donations for their owns reasons.

I rarely run ads, I don't beg for donations and I don't stream consistent long hours daily to keep my viewership high.

All in all, streaming/youtubing has never been an activity that I do for "profit" or "income" in any sense.

It was something I did for fun when I played games (particularly D3).

This is not to say streaming full time is a bad gig, there are a few kids out there making good money doing this as their full time job.

It's just not something that I saw myself doing from the start so never really paid much attention to it.

I do things like Youtube and what not to save myself time from answering the same question 500 times a day.

I've probably made about $500-600 with 1/3 of that being donations from my Youtube/Twitch the first week of S3.

Is this a lot of money for playing a video game? Different answers for different situations obviously.

Being a D3 streamer as your full-time job is probably one of the most tedious games to stream since you have to put in extraordinary amounts of time to stay relevant to the game, where-as in other games your actual skills or entertainment value as a person will be bigger factors resulting in less time consumed.

I always used to stream with the mentality that hey I'm playing the game anyways might as well make a few bucks out of it at the same time.

But that's only IF I was gonna play the game anyways and I'm genuinely enjoying the game I'm playing.

Both of which is not the case with D3 for me.

getting TL;DR and I'm not sure why I have to continue to repeat myself and justify my reasons for quitting or "cheating".

Does it really matter to any of you what I choose to do?

I'm just gonna play another game, probably Path of Exile Beta later today when it comes out.

If that game is fun, I'll continue to play it... if not I'll play something else or take a break from computer gaming...

Is this such a hard concept?

Honestly the fact of the matter is, if any of you or myself decided to delete everything related to D3 from our lives this exact moment it would probably be a healthy and productive thing overall for your actual lives... not the Role Playing lives we get addicted to inside D3.

I'm very tempted to just delete my dfans account after this post so I'm not tempted to come back in here and respond to the constant trolling plus there's also nothing more that needs to be said.

Well I come back to D3?

Like I said, maybe when the environment changes (new devs, new expac or something significant) and if there are any interesting PTRs I'm sure I'll mess around with it for a couple days on a burrowed account since the 2000% MF buff actually makes this game enjoyable to play.

Well I continue to make D3 guides/informational videos?

Most likely not, but it's not like there aren't 1000 other streamers/youtubers who are eager to take my place as the "barb/crus guy".

Have a good day everyone, even you Ruksak.

I am done here guys, take care

    That doesn't answer two questions people have;

    1) Why did you use the cheat?

    2) Why didn't you report it when you did find out about it?

The two questions are inexorably tied together, but worth answering. After our first encounter here over 2 years ago, I did start to gain a bit of respect for you, as far as being a damn good gamer. I've seen some of your Youtube vids (trying tier 70 in PTR etc), and I rethought my stance on you. You don't need to cheat to get ahead, you're a damn solid D3 player.

But this thread, it's weak. It effectively says "I cheated because this game sucks". This is a Diablo fansite where many of the members love the game, and you took a big 'ol cookie shit all over the people who like it, as if we're just a bunch of casual assholes.

I wanted to hear your own words on why you cheated, and frankly, I'm quite disappointed that you avoid the 10-ton elephant in the room. Why did you cheat?

ffs do you have nothing better to do than sit here all day long and bump my thread?

read the 3rd post of thsi thread I already answered you usual troll questions

2 years here and I have 0 respect for you and your continuous toxic spam across the dfans forums.

edit: bagstone or zero, can some1 plz lock ruksak from repeatedly bumping the thread with the same questions over and over again.
