The truth is that even the best players have gold problems at times. Gold on hand is different from your gear's worth. You deduct your current gear's worth (-15%) from the cost of your replacement item. It's better to save and buy a valuable piece as it's literally an investment (savings) towards future earnings. This game is a streamlined, digitally created labor/market matrix, I am interested in seeing the studies released on this game's economy (as Blizzard has hired to help). Some may say it is a free market, but that begins the argument of RNG.
Problem with EQ is on Ranged Elite Packs. I prefer stuff that I use 100% of the time. ATM I'm trying (sorry can't link stuff until I write 10 posts):
Bash + Punish (even if you get only 1/2 stacks is free damage for your Charge/Rend)
Charge + Merciless Assault
Warcry + Impunity
Battle Rage + Marauder's Rage
Rend + Blood Lust
Ignore Pain + Iron Hide or Ignorance is Bliss (Emergency Button)
Sitting at 75k DPS before Bash and is more than enough for kill any Elite Pack without need WotB.
Decent build. Yes I see Bash/Punish or Frenzy/Maniac to be the clear primary skill winner for Rend build. you just want to be increasing the top damage on rend (to 720% wp dmg) and Charge (to 215%). I also use Revenge in place of IP here, with provocation you can just spam Revenge/Rend and your health will never go down no need to run
what he think "stacked rend" is not a stacked rend - it is a critical rend. i've been using rend since patch day and i've done some testing.
rend's tick can not be critical, but the inital application of rend can crit, and all next ticks will do increased damage
Aye this is true, the actual ticks still appear as white text but they are multiplied by your crit damage and obviously the chance these ticks will be higher is based on your crit chance. You see no huge yellow numbers at all and the crit occurs when you do the Rend animation.
so Blizz why do rend crits not appear yellow? It would help greatly to know when you dont have to refresh rend on a mob(s) because its critting. In fact this is the only thing holding me back from going crit/critdmg build with rend.
Rend already does phenomenal damage with good weapons and high STR. With 2k+ STR and 8+% LS rend is enough to help you tank acts III/IV with 800 res all.
This guy is the real deal. Alkaizer is also the GM of a US World of Warcraft guild, which has achieved numerous Server firsts. Great leader, great player. I should know because I've raided with the guy for a while before.

is this Alcazar the old undead warrior from Nurfed WoW?
Slam build works great. Problem is you have to play a bit like a medium range class. This means you can't charge head on into a group, tanking everything and expected to be the last man standing.
Playstyle revolving around slam is you slam without getting hit back. Move in to bash one enemy and retreat before you got surrounded. It's basically hit&run until there's nothing left standing.
Elites can give you a bit of trouble and it might just be best to burn them using some combination of wotb/EQ/IIB.
Or you could just also use rend and stand in the middle of the pack as they melt. But then again rend with bloodlust is so good there is very little reason to spend fury on anything else.

Yes, the difference in these builds is the playstyle and little things like micromanagement that people forget about. Some people find the "micro" required for hit&run gen/spend to be annoying. Of course its still much less micro than I dare say WoW required
I hope u guys keep talking about the WW builds so I can turn attention away from my 8% LS leap/rend/charge that lets me ez mode farm III/IV while multitasking. I am scared of a hot nerf to rend damage at this point
