Also something to think about, in D2 you could pick your favorite class and play nothing but that class and reach endgame content. And now in D3 you have to change your main class every single patch if you want to play endgame content, when RoS came out WD was dominating everything, so everyone rolled a WD, now with 2.1 DH is destroying GRifts, so everyone goes and rolls a DH in order to get to the endgame content.

Blizzard has been promising class balance since D3V came out, and we are still so extremely out of balance that hardly anyone is playing Crusader/Wizard/Barbarian, and the only reason people are playing Monk/WD is because they make good support classes.

Really? Back in D2 (at least in the 1.10+ era), the end game was pretty much P8 hell Baal and Ubers, both of which is best done by a hammerdin (with 1 point smite, no reason to build a separate smiter when you can do a slight gear change). It's true that any class can clear the game in D2, but it is just as true that any class can do T6. If my memory serves me, hammerdins make DH look very balanced.

Perhaps try doing it in other acts, or are you board of all bounties of all 5 acts already?

Looking into it? Wake up Blizz. Just visit Twitch to see them in action... Ppl blatantly laughing at you

Knowing a bug exists is not equal to knowing where the bug is, and certainly not equal to fixing the bug. Looking into it here means that their engineers are going to be on OT tonight trying to find and fix the bug.

There is no point with this debate. We went through the same argument several months before, and the conclusion is that real competitive players have a rather different standards than "competitive" players who sets up arbitrary rules and call anyone who don't follow those imaginary rules to be cheating. As in any competitive (e-)sport, anything tournament legal is not cheating. Blizzard obviously found things people called "exploits" legal, so it is not cheating, end of story.

P.S. Even if Blizzard fixed all those "exploits", none of you here who call others cheating will have any shot at the leader board what-so-ever. Serious runner will simply find other efficient methods. Your mentality prevents you from doing the same, and goes with it your chance of glory. I know it sounds harsh, but that's the reality.

posted a message on Good going Blizzard.

I hate this forum. It appears to have once again ate my post.

Define 100% legit. I presume that the top players aren't botting or hacking, so I don't see what is not legit about it. If they are, report them to Blizzard. Finding the most efficient exp route and farming it is just as legit as clearing every single area of the game. In fact, Blizzard is known for endorsing non game-breaking "exploits", such as drone drilling. Just look at the amount of "bugs" and "features" that were implemented in StarCraft 2 from StarCraft 1. Besides, finding the most efficient farming routes is a hell lot more legit then having "injuries" in soccer/football games, and those people have yet to be banned from playing. (sadly)

That's why the PTR exists, so things like this can get fixed.

    Sorry for your loss, though.

posted a message on if ladder and non-ladder had the same content which would you play?

Non-ladder without trading. Ladder with trading. If there is no trading, then it's better to play with existing characters instead of starting fresh ones. With trading, I would prefer the economy reset that comes with it.

Area levels is detrimental to the game, since it means nobody will farm anywhere that isn't max level, unless it's boss farming. When's the last time you farmed Cold Plains?

If D3 is the worst game you've ever played then you should consider yourself LUCKY because that's saying that you've never truly played a bad game.

I recommend to that person the E.T. games dug up in the landfill last month. Whatever flaws D3 may have, at least the controls are functional, the game is smooth, there aren't too many bugs, and the difficulty isn't way over the roof. I have played my fair share of games where these are not satisfied.
