The "improvements" you bring up are honesty not all that much to write home about. If I were to give one example of an improvement over the PC side, that would be the character specific drop rate. Items dropped will be geared to your character. Now that is an improvement if you ask me. I am not a PC zeolot and could care less about where I play my Diablo 3. I will buy the game for the console and continue to play the PC version. Heck, can anybody argue against being able to play MORE diablo 3? lol

It is an action RPG, not an MMO so the OP telling the world that he is uninstalling the game is simply stupid and should be left to the WoW crowds; they are the only ones who would give a flying fart.

Kripp did not publish that video. I think this is where most of you are misstaken. You seem to think that kripp himself is making videos like this and starting threads about himself. What you dont realize is that he has NOTHING to do with it. Its OTHER people who are doing it. They are taking small segments from his stream, make threads about it, and people hate kripp for it. People accuse him of having a big bloated ego when he actually just sit in his own stream all day long, he rarely posts or dicusses anything on forums...its OTHER people doing it, he has no control of that.

What he does have control over is what he says when he is being video taped. He does have control over the level of contempt he shows towards the casual player. He also has control over the level of hate he spreads about the game he himself has invested thousands of hours into. But if he does not control those things then what more can you expect from his fanbase?

Did you read the date on the last negative review for Diablo 3 on Amazon? June of 2012? So that is your argument? A crap load of reviews that stem from a beta and the opening months of a game that is going to have many more patches and an expansion pack set for release in the coming years? You use year old Amazon reviews to dog a game with 3 million active and different IP users each month? Wow...


As for the video, I have no time to hear about how the top players think the game is dead or full of garbage. I enjoy it for what it is today and the dev team keeps giving us more. More for the original 60 bucks I paid for the game that I have already made back through the use of the RMAH. In the end, I am getting paid to play a game I love spending time playing... Can't beat that in my book and no "top player" will tell me otherwise.

You're criticizing two very smart personalities who are one of the few that hasn't given into the money and genuinely play games out of passion and won't accept half assed maneuvers. Trying to argue that either of these people are anything less than important pioneers of d3 is silly.

People who are very successful in the gaming community are either smart and extremely good at what they do, they have a very exploitable personality that anyone can manipulate to cause drama or the key feature of the stream is to distract the viewer from half ass content and instead reward them as frequently as possible with treats. I would like to see valid arguments that these two persons fit into any other description than the first one.

The video itself answers your question regarding building specs around shitty abilities. Its impossible to make something out of nothing, because of the chickenshit team refuses to add anything that isn't tested for months instead of making sure people have things to do and figure out what needs to be changed after smarter more active people have had a chance to test it out.

Hmm Mempo without crit worthless? Hardly. I have a Mempo without Crit and I need to find one with 5% Crit and decent Dex roll or better to beat it due to the 269 Dex roll for my Monk. So its far from worthless.

Mempo period is worthless for my WD. It would completely ruin my Spirit Regen build unless I completely redid my build for it.

Its all subjective. I personally find Witching Hours crappy for Barbs as I prefer a LS belt instead but its about how I/ME/MYSELF want to play. What you think is trash I may think its gold. New players need to not worry about epeen and just play how they like. If you play because you want to be epeen god of Diablo this game is gonna make you mad unless you play the AH. If you want to play the game to kill monsters, occasionally get an upgrade from the AH to fill a hole or want to go the self found root this game will keep you busy for years.

Sorry but I disagree. If anything Diablo 3 was a success because of the success of Blizzard games not Diablo 2. Do you really think everyone who bought the game played D2. Ive got 5 other people to buy the game and they absolutely have a great time with it. They are not clouded by D2 bias. The coat tail argument is just old. Heard it year after year in COD. You could mimic the Diablo 3 sales argument on the COD forums. "Game sucks it only sold cause of COD 4!!" but continues to sell millions upon millions copies every year because for many people the game is just fun.

Blizz's reputation is releasing a game, tweaking it for years, until they reach what they feel is a great game and then developing a sequal. Blizz sells games becuase they are one of the only developers that takes there time to ensure that the ultimate final product they produce is exactly what people want. Are some going to be unhappy..yup but a vast majority are extremely pleased.

In 10 more years when D4 is released it will sell a crap load of copies and people will complain because it isnt like D3. Times change and so does the core customer base. I think Blizz knows that by how there games have evolved.

I wish other companies would do "PTR's" so they could find out the patch breaks other things ingame or realizes the changes arent having the change that was expected.

Whats funny is Blizz gets railed for releasing a "Beta" game and now they want to run a Beta Test before releasing a patch and they are getting yelled at. Nothing will please this community period. Blizz could give them a bar of gold for free and the community would bitch it weighs to much.

Huh? 130-433 Avg Dmg on mine is nearly the same as the 63-387 Avg Dmg on yours? The difference is huge. And Int is close to mine if you put a Marquise in the socket. So the buyer has to drop another 80 mil or so to make it close to equal.

Like I said 1 to 2 mil tops quit fooling yourself.
