.. or I would at least like that.
With each paragon level you receive a certain percentage of reduced crit dmg and crit chance on you.
Make it so that up to paragon level 50 you get the most benefit out of it, and that you can level paragon with pvp tokens.

    What do you think?

I don't understand what "resilience" means but i get your idea. I just think your full idea is pointless.

Truth is Crit Damage has no place in PVP. Its a PVM stat used to help kill monsters with billion of health faster, nothing more and nothing else.

Instead of what ever idea you are trying to make come to life. Removing crit damage all together its the right way to go.

Thats not an option for them. It would make crit a trash stats, which is not what they want.

Wrong.... It would make CRIT a PVM stat. Just like alot of other stats/skills would be totally useless in PVP. And lets face it, the most over-used, over stacked and abused stat gimmick in Diablo 3 is crit. Removing it from pvp would not only be smart but make different items 'WORTH" something.

Theres NO point for crit in pvp.. At all. Making it not work in pvp would not make it worthless since it would still be the biggest PVM stat.

Removing it only balances out damage. Which is a good thing.

posted a message on How will an expansion work with these numbers?
This game is broken. They need to re-balance everything which would end up making a ton of people cry and quit.

D3 has to much damage being dealt in the simplest way.. I remember being a newbie and seeing a weapon doing 600 damage and thinking to myself "really"? You could only imagine my thoughts about gear/skills criting for a million.

Now, this game is nothing but a crit gear orgy. Its bland, dull and utterly broken in my opinion.

Agreed. PVP arena might be fun.

posted a message on PVP Why No Word from Blizzard
    Quote from MasterDavid

So I have been thinking why is Blizzard so silent about PVP when so many people are raging about it?

The only reason I can think of is the huge differences in each class.

    Barbs 200-300K DPS
    DH 300-400k DPS
    Wiz 250-300k DPS
    WD 150-200K DPS
    Monk 100-200k DPS

I have yet to see a 200k DPS monk but I am sure it is possible. With the huge differences in each class they would have to implement some balancing.

Why would a 100k DPS monk want to go up against a 300K DPS DH. Even with a shield it's a one shot.

They have at least told us there will be no PVP gear.

I have a feeling there is not going to be any straight up player vs player, but it will be teams.

    Thought anyone?

Just remove Crit everything from pvp.. Problem solved. Cirt damage does not belong in PVP.. Its a PvM stat.

After removing crit they can then adjust damage... Like in D2 where players only did a a certain percent of damage to each other instead of max.

Simple really. I don't get why people think pvp will be all a one shotting crit love fest.

    Quote from IgnatiusReilly

Any normal game dev that sold over 3.5 millon copies of a game on opening day would be very grateful to their fans.

How exactly should he communicate this, and why does this affirmation matter so much to you? Not to mention most of the "fans" spit vitriol at just about anything that comes out of their mouth. I'd avoid their fans like the plague if I were him.

An update every so often is fine, if they have information, if they don't, then whatever, life goes on. It's not in Jay's job description to make use feel good about ourselves.

Well then obiviously he can't handle if he 'gets his fellings hurt'' and should be fired. Or let someone else do it... Simple really.

There are ton of games out there where Devs always answer "FANS'' questions. Or at least acknowledge them. With D3, the fastest selling/best selling PC game they should be more than happy to answer any and all questions... Especially after the huge pay day the got from it.

Problem is they sold a very different game than what was originally 'shown' to the public. The removed alot of great features from D3 and released a game that wasn't even finished yet. And after selling a TON of copys of an unfinished game they then started to ignore the majority of great posts which involvve questions/idea for the game.

This game makes me want to snap... Especially the forums on Diablo3.com.

A few posts asking for some info on pvp, buffing skills and over all balancing get no attention while the BLUEs post about what kind of music the enjoy listening to while playing...............Really?

Do i have to tie Jay Wilson up to a pole and beat the the answer out of him? Because any normal person would just simply answer the question, especially after making SO MUCH MONEY OFF THE GAME...meh.

    .

As much money as some people may think Blizzard is making off the RMAH, it can't even start to compare to WoW subscriptions. It's not even 1/50th. The only time they'll be getting a comparable amount is when they release an expansion.

So basically D3 being garbage is because of WOW and their panzy subscriptions?

I think your are right if thats yor point.

Any normal game dev that sold over 3.5 millon copies of a game on opening day would be very grateful to their fans. But not blizzard. thanks to WoW they think they are entitled to MOUNTAINS of cash on a daily basis.

    2) "apathy towards players"? "neglecting the player's outcrys"? => If I was working at Blizzard, I would feel insulted. The have regular Q&A panels at Blizzard events, there are occasional tweets, there was an AMAA on Reddit, and loads of interviews. The dev's representatives, the community managers, are reading the official forums and have responded to almost every constructive (and sometimes even unconstructive) topic at some point - it's difficult to find a topic about D3 which wasn't touched with a blue post at some point.

The most important part of the game never gets touched by blues, devs or even Jay Wilson...... As in P V P.

Besides "It won't be in the expansion and we can use our own gear'' Alls they do is ignore anyone with PVP questions.

    AMAZING!!!

    Quote from Nikdik

If D3 was the best-selling game of all time, why the does the dev team have so much apathy towards its players? An ARPG shouldnt have as much content as an MMO, but even for Blizzard standards the game is lacking a fun factor in the end game. A game that sells 10 million copies deserves continuous content updates, end of story. Paragon levels was a start, but the fundamental problem of one act being the best for farming still exists.

Adding the RMAH to the game while cutting out several pieces of content for no reason is one thing, but I feel like Blizz is just damaging their reputation by neglecting the player's outcrys. I post this not to criticize the dev team, I am a concerned player who wants to keep enjoying the game.

I don't know what blizzards mental issues are, Jay Wilson included.

There have been tidal waves of posts regarding pvp in Diablo 3 and nothing ever gets discussed. Even Jay Wilson at the Spike VGA dodges the question and goes all' Its super secret".

Im sorry but when the majority of pvp fans are angry with its current state of NOTHING in D3, anything is better then nothing. Especially when this feature was a major selling point for some people and it still doesn't exist 7 months later.

Without any PVP this game is garbage. I don't care what any PVM carebears think about PVP or how bad they think it will be.

No pvp of any form 7 months in is a complete joke.

posted a message on Why Nerf/Fix Reflect Damage?
Reflect damage is lazy, stupid, pointless game mechanic. I have no real problem with it, but the fact that it exists is lame.

People saying they enjoy it or go off on some rant about "You need more life mitigation'' are full of it.

It restricts builds and item use. The only gear check in any Diablo game should come from Defensive gear... And if you have no defensive gear you better be able dodge good.

Being able to kill yourself, especially with ranged attacks is the dumbest thing i've ever seen in a Diablo game.

I don't understand why he seems to think only "cookie cutter and RMAH" can beat Ubers under enrage time... lol.

Seems like a pretty bold assumption, I don't use a "cookie cutter" build (I have never seen any other person use my build exactly, ever.), have never used my Credit Card for anything but buying the game itself, and yet I have only even seen enrage a couple of times ever in D3.

There is a distinct difference between not using a cookie cutter build/gear, and using a build/gear that just plain sucks.

Im not exactly "for" enrage timers, but I do resent the implication that because I can do enough damage to not be bothered by them somehow indicates that I have used a cookie cutter build or my CC. (because I haven't, and I don't)

    Speaking for MP10 content here.

Sorry if i offeneded you then. But my remark was aimed at the people who do fall under that remark..

Most people who do claim its nothing have Credit cared their way to victory using cookie cutter builds.

"I am geared enough, but I can't beat the enrage timer" is a rather amusing statement :)

If you don't get it, don't get it.

Ok so explain why i can handle all of MP 10 smart guy?

Please STFU or make some sense.

We better stop this, our brains don't interact well.
Thanks to Bleedxd, for pointing this out by mentioning that "Unbuffed" topic of yours.

Again.. Make some sense or just go away...

You can run your mouth about eveything except the fact that Enrage is nothing more then a windows pop that causes insta death for no reason.

Now you can sit there and fap your keyboard with your Credit card and cookie cutter builds all day. I don't give flying monkeys twisted nipple what you do.

Just make some sense. ....Do i have to say pleease??

. Sorry, your "fun" build isn't good enough for MP, which isn't intended to be used by people playing "fun" builds.

Since Diablo 3 is just WoW 1.5

Well, my sooo called fun build can handle all areas of MP 10. I think i made that point pretty clear.

Also, if i wanted to play wow id play wow.

I wanna play Diablo. Not WOW.

And really, why should I die to a windows pop up on the bottom of my screen?

Not using a cookie cutter build with cookie cutter gear is no reasonable reponse. So, sorry that doesn't make sense to me. Especially considering the FACT i can handle all of MP 10.

Its a stupid game mechanic.... Which has to go.

    I don't undertsand peoples logic.
