In his video, he's bitching so many times about "items that are much cheaper on EU than on US". I wonder if he was just lucky by finding those items? I tried to build a similar set like the one he did and especially all the Zuni items are at least two times as expensive as in his video. I put in the same numbers and the prices were just twice as high, some even more. As for the ring, there was only one matching his stats, for 10 times more buyout (39m). Was he just lucky, or is it that everyone watched his guide and thus people realize "oh these items are worth something" and therefore prices increased? That would make basically every publicly released guide unusable. He also doesn't offer too many alternatives, like rare belt or black weapon, just to avoid running into this problem that you *need* Chanto set, 3 piece Zuni, and so on (which is not the case).
I liked his previous guides and linked them in my gear guide, but this one is in my opinion not too helpful because it falls short on several aspects: too limited choice of alternative gear, too much "luck" involved in sniping the items, a budget that's not really a budget build anymore, and a lot of assumptions that bring people into trouble who just think that within half an hour and with 50m they can build a perfect CM wizard. He has a lot of experience and is able to compute so much stuff in his head, if people do the same in less than an hour I bet many will end up with a flawed set in the end (just falling short on some important EHP stats for example).

I was wondering - when you run MP8, you can't possibly 1shot mobs. Given the steep HP increase for any enemy on higher MP levels, I'd like to know how you sustain Archon. When I run Archon in a group with 1-2 demon hunters, I have a lot of downtime - even just on MP2/3, and even though they try to let me have the killing blows whenever I'm in Archon. (I'm at ~110k (unbuffed)/150k (buffed) dps currently).

Sadly, I can't do the bridge anymore - annoying lag every time I get there, makes it totally unplayable...

I was at the same point a few weeks ago, and with even less money I upgraded from 50k to 90k. I'd definitely recommend getting another 10% runspeed - your pants are not that bad, making Inna's too costly. Also, Lacuni with crit are extremely expensive, thus Tyrael's might be the cheapest option. If you spend a few millions (single digits) on a Triumverate and a second ring with +crit, and upgrade your weapon with >2.5 lifesteal and critdmg + socket instead of the APoC, you should be able to play MP2 and still have money left to shoot for a BiS (e.g., a decently rolled Witching Hour).
All stats work in synergy - an item that might give you +5000 dps now, would yield +15000 dps if you had a base dps of 150k already. Load your profile into d3up.com, browse the AH and check how dps/EHP change :-)

I understand that some people want this, but I know a lot of people who have been in the Diablo franchise from the very beginning (yes, 16 years) and for these people Diablo is a solo/small group experience. And it's about fighting the evil together, not fighting each other. Guilds, clans, PvP - it will come eventually, but to be honest: it doesn't really fit the story.
All of the points you mentioned can be found in a ton of other games - most and foremost WoW. I'm a bit sick of all these people who want Diablo to turn into WoW. Play Torchlight 2 (and wait for the TL2 MMORPG), or any other of the million games out there that does fulfill all your desired needs. Many people like Diablo 3 the way it is because it focuses around it's original legacy and they actively decided AGAINST going mainstream like 99% of the other games out there. In fact, Max Schaefer had designed Diablo 3 as an MMORPG, but after he left they went the other way, started from scratch to design the game the way it is now.
Seriously? You are calling this game right now a beta? This is the biggest insult I've ever heard. This game is in a better state than 99% of all games on release. Do you even know about the history of Diablo, how much time they took to program, polish, and finish this? Could you please acknowledge how much they improve the game over time FOR FREE - every other software developing company would have made you pay for that (as an add-on or whatever). Diablo 3 in October 2012 and "beta". YMMD.
They just added a new event last week. PvP will come, eventually. And more loot - be careful; how boring a game gets if you get too much loot can be seen in Torchlight 2.
Yes! Exactly!
HAHAHAHAHAHA Diablo 3 and dying. Hilarious. Even if this game was as crappy as everyone's saying in this thread - Blizzard has similar die hard fanboys like Apple. Even if they would release a stupid flashgame, people would play the hell out of it.
Seriously, this thread is madness. Enjoy that this game is a bit different than all the other games, please.

Yes it is.

However, I kind of disagree about the Hellfire Ring. Casual players even benefit from a badly rolled Hellfire Ring, which might make you lose a few 2-5k dps - but if you're stuck at around 50k or 80k dps, I'd rather go with the 35% exp which is a huge boost and will allow you to quickly gain a higher paragon level and subsequently better loot.
If you're a high-end player with insane gear, you can craft multiple rings per week. I know some of these players who have 250k+ dps and/or are farming at least MP8. They are not wearing the ring, because they need awesome stats. Try to get a Hellfire Ring that can replace a BiS legendary/set: it's almost as difficult to get as trifecta gloves. In the end, the casual players who need 1-2 weeks for the Hellfire Ring will wear it; the high-end players most likely won't. Plus, in the end, some of these players might try to get as many Hellfire materials as possible which slows down leveling; if you're getting 5 buffs, killing the key warden and starting a new game it's more inefficient in terms of experience and legendary farming than getting 5 buffs and killing as many elite packs as possible.

Offhands aren't the expensive parts - the mainhand is the problem.
For best possible Skorn you're missing a socket, but still: unless you've access to an awesome 1h, I'd definitely stick with Skorn. I've got a pretty nice Triumverate (self-found, so some bias towards using it over a 2h), but finding a MH with decent stats and DPS is almost impossible.

150-200 with MP/NV. And same here - about 6 hours, nothing so far.
Like I said earlier: if you have better gear and higher paragon level, you have a completely different picture and find lots of legs/sets - just do the math. My friends who are ~20 paragon levels higher also found a lot since the patch. But also, RNG is RNG; I'm having bad luck, they're on a lucky streak.

Please remember this when you "complain" about having found 20 legendaries and grant the casuals their 1-2 drops per week. Thanks.
Also, the increase in legendaries in the AH is absolutely normal - everyone's farming like crazy now for the Hellfire Ring; lots of people are returning to the game who previously stopped playing because they lost interest. It's just obvious that the AH will be flooded, but it will go back to normal in a few days/weeks.

Edit: Okay, I read it in the other thread. Well, these are the breakthrough points for a WW build; if you're playing something different, these breakpoints are different as well, of course.
