posted a message on Blizzard! Steal This Idea! -- Bottomless Potions

Just wanted to actually add some positive remarks to your post.

For one thanks, we are overdue for potion updates tbh. Current system is boring and honestly trash.

I also enjoy the editing you put in this, I can see you wanted to make a great idea/concept and present it and you did.

As for one, with any post there are always flaws that some members have already pointed out, still it can be fixed.

Two, some of these would be top picks for others but hell, the idea of this post was not only to improve potions but too add further utility as well to them.

I am very sorry for all these negative ass post in here, you would think Diablo Fans would be open minded and engaging. Not act like reddits "I dont like it therefore its stupid and sucks" thinking.

Keep doing what you do, you have a mind set of a game designer. Something ALL ARPG are currently lacking in.

Be patient. Considering they are actually trying to make some decent changes makes me believe they are going to try a "bit harder" now with Diablo.

Who knows, maybe we are going to see..even more content here soon.

not sure why every one is so hyped up on primals there just the same as ancients the only item you need as primal is the main weapon everything else is pointless getting primal you're ancients will be far quicker and easyer to farm than primals with the stats you need

Gives me a reason to grind out and enjoy actually obtaining gear in the game. Instead of worrying about paragon tbh.

    Quote from SeraphimKensai»

Personally, It would be cool if they just modified Ramaladni's Gift so that would be able to add a socket to jewelry as well. As far as your other ideas, I'm kinda opposed to socketing gloves, boots, shoulders, belts, and bracers. I also don't like the idea of upgrading a legendary into a primal ancient as I think it takes away from the RNG quest to find a primal ancient, as I understand the developers wanted primals to be relatively rare. I'm also not a fan the raining gold, treasure, or empowerment as I don't see too much of a benefit to the community. Gold is abundant, you can get around 5 or so legendaries every few minutes on a grift, or even more on a rift sometimes, and legendary gems levels should be the reward of successful effort.

Your part about the Trinket and Mind had me thinking, as I recently have been playing D2 as well about D2 charms. I would be entirely alright if there was a charm like in D2 that sat in your inventory. If you get it, its blank and doesn't do anything...until you add it to the cube recipe to extract a legendary affix, and instead of being extracted to the cube, its written onto the charm. That could open up more build diversity, and would need to keep the limit of charms to 1 per character. This change, would be game changing to say the least in builds, but I think the community would embrace it.

Your thought about replacing a socket with a meta socket allowing jewelry/helm legendary gems onto a weapon is interesting. There's obviously drawbacks to doing it such as losing 130% crit damage or thorns damage, so its a bit of a balancing act. I think I'd be fine with something like that. I could see a lot of BOTT, BOTP, BOTS, and Goguk's builds running around, that might introduce some power creep, but it ultimately creates more flexibility and requires a judgement call by the player.

Sorry if you took offense to any of this, I was attempting to be critical, yet thinking about ease of coding and game balance. Overall thanks for the ideas, realistically though I'm skeptic regarding the likelihood of any of these changes.

There was no offense taken to any of the feedback and opinions you provided.
    1. Always enjoyed the idea of the jeweler back in beta to socket any equipment, which is why I would love that.
    2. True about the primal, thing is the requirements would need to be very high and the drop would be VERY rare, we are talking a low 0.000017% kind of chance compared to the gift that is about 1%.
    3. The treasure/gold is just something nice, sometimes its a nice reward even if not what you wanted. Extra forgotten souls or even a heap of gold. Just some "cool" things.
    4. Legendary gems certainly need to be rewarded for completing the rift, the idea is the fact you will have something extra to help boost it. Also would be considered a very rare drop. I could go without the idea though.
    5. Trinkets/Charms have always been a long term thing I have personally wanted to see in D3. I agree completely with your statement and which is why I think if anything this should and could be a real feature in the future. Again it would work like a follower trinket/idol. One per character with random stats.
    6. Right now sadly emeralds/thorns socket is the best and I really hope we will get a proper change, was just one idea on how to change it.

Again my friend, I take no offense and of course I don't expect Blizzard knocking at my door to come code this for them haha. I just like to think of ideas and have fun be apart of the community. It's interesting to discuss this as I remember I had a similar idea with the kania cube and then months later an idea become a real thing.

Thank you for stopping by and checking it out.

Small post, not to many details but interesting thoughts/ideas. Some to add power creep, some to add solutions, some for fun.

Ramaladni's Chisel - Add a socket to any piece of jewelry.

Ramaladni's Favor - Add a socket to any piece of armor. (Glove, Boot, Belt, Bracers)

Ramaladni's Mind - Add a new stat to any piece of armor or weapon. (Stat will roll for your class, only primary stat)

Ramaladni's Greed - Destroying this item makes money rain from the skies.

Ramaladni's Treasure - Destroying this item makes 20-30 legendary/sets drop.

Ramaladni's Essence - Makes a legendary primal - Must be used in cube, 3 level 70 legendary gems required. Must be lucky and obtain the essence first and have unlocked primals from solo grift 70.

Ramaladni's Trinket - Creates a randomized property charm that roll's 5 affixes. This charm will be added to cube. Must have 25 bounty materials of each act to infuse/use passively on character. (Yes can roll ancient or primal)

Ramaladni's Gem - Destroys a socket on your weapon to create a legendary meta socket. This will allow a 4th legendary gem to be used as a socket for your weapon. Item drops 100% after beating greater rift 70 solo.(This would be important as emerald socket is #1, either balance gems accordingly or allow this?)

Ramaladni's Empowerment - Upgrade any legendary gem by 3 levels.

    DISCLAIMER

Some items would be more rare then others.

second post i view today with suggestions about the game. jesus fucking christ just change games already, diablo 3 isnt the end of the world, just move on.
I certainly don't understand the anger behind your comment. This game can always be better and its sometimes fun to create post like this. This was a fun thread an idea thread, pure fun was made doing this. Please refrain from posting on suggestions if you can't contain the rage you have for them? Your post was a bit unnecessary and, very messy.

Memory lane ? this is NOTHING like diablo 1. This is diablo3 tilesets and diablo 3 mobs. With an added shitty filter. We wanted d1 looking and playing like d3. Not d3 looking and playing like d1. This is crap and should never have been made

    Always so negative.

Im over exaggerating? Are you kidding? I was there, these were the exact responses I got. Because im not a youtuber that wants your views I am lying?

Stop being a sheep to Blizzard. You can see that I was there at my twitter @RealMuscleGamer

Also no one agrees with me? Any real DIABLO fan is extremely disappointed with the showing Diablo got..

I use to be a very big diablo streamer but work took over.

I am a huge Diablo fan, and while I wasn't fully satisfied I was not left with a nasty taste in my mouth. I don't think you should be calling out whos a true Diablo fan and who's not. Right now I see many "diablo fans" on this diablofans website acting very salty, toxic, and generally just bad. Not saying you are one by any means.

Also I want to say, I am for certain we are getting a 2nd xpac still. We have 2 new classes to discover and a story to complete. By that alone does not mean we will get one but, I tend to think optimistically about things. Its best to not expect things but always give a chance?

Who knows whats to come in Diablo's future all I know is that as long as the game isn't pay to win like it was when released I am A ok with this.

Btw ty for your info and posting.

Good post, pretty much agree with what you say HanSolo1884 besides the Esports thing.

All I can say is that people who are freaking are obviously very passionate about the game, but a bit too passionate to be willing to attack other members of the game they care and love about too.

Grow some acorns and just wait for the expansion that will come in the future.

Logically speaking we should receive 2 new classes and possibly 2 new acts with a shit-load of content when its made and ready to go.

Diablo isn't dead so no need for R.I.P, not like we just saw our mother died its a video game.

It will come, just hold onto your balls.

PS. Was hoping for more but, in the end I am glad what we got.

posted a message on Blizzard may have indirectly announced a future D3 Expansion.

    Quote from Demonmonger»

Every reference at Blizzcon, even through the Necro video as well as from the ending of A5 have a common theme. That theme is the Nephilim having to much power and becoming a threat to humanity itself.

Well, if you pay close attention, the Necro calls the Nephilim the "Heroes of Light". Referring to them as something else, we can assume that the Necro is NOT a Nephilim. So is the Necro being recruited by Tyrael through the horadrim? I feel that this all makes too much sense.

It is a risky proposition however, because if the core of the Next and Likely last D3 expansion is to remove the threat of the Nephilim, what will happen to the classes that we all love (Barb, DH, WD, Monk, Wiz, Sader)? Will there be new class art done to change the appearance of the class to notify us that the individual we played as was in fact a Nephilim, but we have not yet attained that achievement?

Furthering my evidence, they discuss in numerous interviews changes for the future, beyond 2.4.3, beyond 2017, and they always have this giddy smile on their faces about it. They are also unwilling to comment on any question regarding the "Unannounced Project" in which they have been hiring many additional staff members to assist with.

Realizing that the current staff of D3 is likely also working on this "Unannounced Project" it makes logical sense that the project is D3 X2, the Fall of the Nephilim. After all, the reason D3 Vanilla became a mess was because of a difference of passion and views due to the 4 year layoff of developing the game to assist with WoW (confirmed via Blizzcon 25th anniversary panel having been 2005-2008).

What are your thoughts regarding this rumor?

I have a thought that OP is a blind Blizzard fanboy who adores absolutely anything with (c) Blizzard
I have a thought that this guy is a angry nerd who doesn't enjoy live and adores trying to shit on anyone enjoying themselves with a game he doesn't.

bye bye diablo... good knowing you..and to the devs, a game with so much potential just because you are stuck ups and never listen to public you will lose the franchise...You all think you sold millions of copies because you created something beautiful! NO , you sold copies because fans were starving for new diablo but never thought it would suck this much....Copies sold vs twitch viewers ratio is probably the lowest in the gaming history along with no man's sky...

Not very good to advertise youtube/twitch and cry like that..
