If you can't reforge/cube and get Pancients items, then why would you farm bounty materials when you can't use the mats to get a best-in-slot items? In that case Pancients will kill bounties. :/

From the Blizzcon panel demonstration, everyone will have the option to purchase up to 6 tabs, but if you play Season 4, you can get 7 when you complete a season journey in season 4.

How much do you think you gain from the "feature"? I am just trying to get an idea of how bad this exploit/feature is.

Pretty much all ehp... you hit a damage limitation on NS either way, So i think anything above GR ~72-73 is out of the question even with this. (pretty much all unused barb passives are ehp buffs)
Thanks. Why do you say NS though? Because you need Stricken to progress further?

    Quote from peteed1985»

My monk keeps getting The Paddle instead of any other legendary daibo out of the Kunai's when i'm trying to get The Flow of Eternity. Got me thinking is that because of the rare daibo i'm trying to upgrade or just bad luck? I mean with 11 legendary daibo and one set one to pick from it seems very odd that I have upgraded and gotten 5 The Paddle's in a row.

RNG is RNG is RNG. There is nothing special about it. I don't know if all weapons have the same weight (i.e. drop tables with different frequencies for each drop.) I've crafted around 200 1H Mighty Weapons and gotten quite a few ancients.
11 is not a lot when you are specifically targeting Flow of Eternity, which essentially means that you want one in eight daibos on average. (I think there are eight different daibos.) It's just luck mate. Try and watch Wudijo's video on crafting, and you'll see how powerful upgrade rare and reforge legendary really is!

    posted a message on ik/waste vs bk/waste

For bounties, BK/WW seems pretty much the fastest way to farm, even with non-ancient BK weapons.

For higher level grifting, IK/WW will likely give you more damage output, depending on your gear. IK/WW and HOTA seem to be the builds that are topping the solo barb leaderboards right now.

If you are in a group with a healer Monk, LPFS is pointless IMO, and you'd get more DPS from rolling LPFS to %Damage

Otherwise, you a DPS calculator https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O9FtwgePbBRohdzP9V0f86Wtpb2apscNNTeyYnkKQCo/edit#gid=0

to see whether rolling +Damage or %Damage is better. There is a spreadsheet by Quin69 too.

14xx vitality is quite a bit to give up on, but depends on if you want to push solo or group, IMO.

You would also get more damage by using Focus+Restraint, than you get from CoE + Hexing Pants.

posted a message on Whats wrong with the ptr leaderboards ?

There is an issue that allows players to create greater rifts where the monsters only have very little life, regardless of the greater rift level. I've seen screenshots of a high level rift (60'ish iirc), rift boss only had 92,000,000 HP. So you can imagine that if ALL grifts (regardless of level) are as easy as a level 1 rift, things get out of hand pretty easily. The XP scaling seems quite absurd for lvl 100+ rifts, so that's how people are doing things.

The bug is related to the old "two-for-one/double rift" bug, but hopefully this will never enter a live patch!

    Quote from RasAlgethi24»

Yes, you can and its way too easy. My buddy rolled a bk weapon to ancient in no time.

Thanks, man! This is what I was looking for.

I wonder if incoming fix, because it will be MUCH cheaper in terms of mats to roll GG ancient set items, compared to using the straight-up "reforge". Also the "Upgrade Rare Item" seems quite cheap compared to the reforge option (if you can roll an ancient from a rare item).

posted a message on Convert item, rolls ancient?

I am not talking about the Reforge ...I am talking about the "Convert Set Item"!

Reforge a Legendary Item: Completely re-rolls a Legendary item as though it had dropped for the first time. This includes any powers that may have been previously enchanted on the item. Note that reforged items may re-roll as either Ancient or non-Ancient, so reforge at your own discretion!

Upgrade Rare Item: Upgrades the quality of a level 70 Rare item to Legendary. This item will roll as a randomized Legendary that shares that item's equipment type.

Convert Set Item: Converts a Set item to a randomized piece of gear from the same Set. For example, if you convert a pair of Asheara's Finders, you could get Asheara's Custodian, Asheara's Pace, or Asheara's Ward in return.

Can you roll an ancient item with the convert item recipe? If so it will be quite easy to obtain certain ancient weapons like Shenlong's or Bul-Katho's, since the cost is rather low.
