That's a good question. Thanks for asking it. I'm currently travelling but as of next week would like to update it, if I have the data. Never had beta access myself

I'm pretty sure it's quite opposite - in season i usually boost on lvl 70 and it seems way faster then lvl 1 rifts.Quote from BlackcurseLT»

Thats the way u do it exept u cant go in a T13 as lvl 1, it can be max T6 and the booster should open so u get "his" T6 and not T6 at "your" lvl 1, but yes 1 cowrun would be enough if booster have a gem of ease.
GL in S11 ^^
lvl70 T6 grants the same exp as lvl1 T6 for low level characters, so you should open at lvl1 if the booster doesnt have much gear to carry you fast.
Anyway i dont get why people want to boost new class to 70 especially when season is 4 weeks away, why not enjoy campaign in NS and discover necromancer ? (this is what i plan to do) -

Bagstone posted a message on I think that's it for S10Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion1) The gap between solo and group still exists, I won't deny that. But if you absolutely *can't find your gear* in solo play then it's not like group play will all of the sudden fix everything. You're either extremely unlucky (can happen in group as well; I didn't get an In-Geom in S8 until paragon 650, nor anyone in my group, so that season was terrible for me). Or you just set yourself too high goals (I don't have an ancient Andariel's with cold yet for my LoN WD, but that's also like complaining that I haven't won the lottery yet). Or you're just really inefficient. (There are tons of people who finish the entire season journey completely solo in under 30 hours playtime, by the way.)
2) The only real lag in the game is caused by too much net calculations (e.g., area damage + many effects on many mobs + too many mobs that are alive for a long time). Basically, Hammerdin lags the game out (in 3 player on GR85+), and a bit later the FB WD. Which is why everyone is so happy about the LoN WD. The game has no inherent lag problem, *especially* not for solo players. Are you a HC player in a group with some suicidal hammerdins that click on a shield pylon in the middle of 100 mobs on GR80? Yep, you're dead. That's a fair complaint about bad game implementation and a death that shouldn't happen. But as a solo player who probably isn't even pushing the limits yet (you say yourself you have been unlucky with gear) it sounds like it's 99.9999% something on your side (PC issues, ISP issues, etc).
3) All those client issues etc that you mention sound exactly like what people have when switching to the 64 bit client. I had occasional lags as well, really annoying. Switched to 32 bit and now I'm happily multiboxing on 4 accounts, all on full HD resolution, with no lag at all. On a 6 year old gaming rig. Also, a busy internet connection in the background sounds like your B.Net client is uploading/downloading some stuff. I think you can turn that off.
I can emphasize with honest complaints. Sorry if my reply sounds a bit harsh, but it just sounds like "let's make a thread and rant about this crap game" when actually I see issues like yours being resolved on an almost daily basis in Blizzard tech support forum. Ask for help, and you'll be fine. Millions of people play this game without issues and lag, this is not some kind of early access Steam beta. Are there issues? Yep. But it sounds like yours can easily be solved if you contact support.
Edit: Thread locked due to unacceptable behavior of OP. Take a break and re-think your actions before you come back, please. And in the meantime I can only re-emphasize: contact Blizzard support.

Slayerviper posted a message on New Primal ancients!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussionjust because you don't find something right away doesn't mean things are bad or wrong or your unlucky. If you flip a coin 6 times in a row and get heads some people may say that its not 50/50 chance.. which is incorrect. If you collect 10,000 legs and don't find 1 then there might be an issue. Sample size are your friend.

bs4237 posted a message on upcoming changes primal 14/2 pluepostPosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionThis update to Primals has caused me completely lose interest. What could have been an iconic, trophy has now become something maybe 1% better than the current ancients. Many of us enjoy the search and constant grind to find upgrades and they should be special, not "slightly" better.
2-3 months into patch 2.5 everyone will have the exact same rolled primals and nothing will be unique. every Travelers pledge will be 20/10/100 yey...
Cookie cutter builds everywhere with identical items. No thanks.
The original plan for Primals was spot on. extremely hard to find (1% drop rate) You will actually be excited again when you find something so rare.
We are all tired of pushing the exact same GR levels for the last 6 months. Power creep is necessary to give us something to strive for.
I hope this is a very early April fools joke.

Bagstone posted a message on I was lurking on the US forums, and found this....Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionMicro transactions: yes. Pay 2 Win (aka loot boxes): no.
It's pretty simple. Unfortunately, people always mess up the argument by adding small little "p2w" twists into their arguments, killing it off before anyone can read it, like OP in the thread you linked.
The problem is that Diablo 2 had both people who made a shit ton of money from that game as well as people who enjoyed the solo aspects. In D3V, they tried to combine this, unfortunately killing the latter and turning this game fully into Wall Street. Ever since pulling that plug, the annoying unemployed brokers come back and complain that they can't rip off other people anymore. And the people who were once ripped off are really really afraid of D3 Wall Street opening its doors again. So it's a difficult discussion.

Ominus81 posted a message on I was lurking on the US forums, and found this....Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionIm not opposed to paying for content for a game ive spent so much time on. The problem is, the whole point of D3's end game is trying to find and make loot to make your character as powerful as possible (or whatever the purpose is for your build). If you add in loot crates or pay for loot - you've broken the game or took away the major point of even playing it. In d3 you gain loot and cosmetics by EARNING it. Thats how D3 end game works.
They now charge $10 to change your in game name and going to charge $ for the new necro coming out. Find other ways similar to gain income to add more content other than loot. -
