    Quote from Mob_Dylan

Don't care if DH is the worst class, still by far the most fun class for me to play. Unlike some I actually find it quite fun to dodge, vault, and kite to avoid damage. I really don't play these games to become the most efficient farmer or to compete with other players. I've been playing since D3 release with no breaks because I make my own fun in the game, I don't subscribe to anyone else's idea of how a game should be played or enjoyed. From what I take from the RoS beta the DH is actually not under powered at all. People are just using the same boring as shit builds they did in D3 with no account of the new synergies RoS presents. If all your worried about is farming legendarys then go with the most efficient class (there is always a clear "one" that is the most efficient). If you want to have fun playing a game and not stressing about "oh man I'm so slow and inefficient" then play the class you want.

Pretty much this. I've never played the DH thinking it was op, I just played it because imho it is the funniest class in D3.

I've been watching streams and people who play the DH don't have a clear idea of how to play as a DH and only care about efficiency, not about fun. It's like "wut? I have to use my brain to play this class? BS DH's are so weak, blablabla".

I'm pretty exited about the state of the DH right now, and I can't wait to the exp to come out and try it myself. There are so many builds and thinngs that I want to try.

I think that they are not adressing the main problem here and that is that we will basically outgear the game once again... so there is going to be a point in which we will have nothing to do and there would not be a challenge naking the game boring once again... They should add some new mechanics that make the game ALWAYS hard to those who want a real challenge not matter how good your gear is but how good you are with the class you are playing with.

Only thing I would like to know is if there would be a point in which we will outgear the game?? The game seems fun but if we can reach a point in which we will one shot everything just like before, I'll be really dissapointed.

All I see is that they dont care that much about D3... All they care is Warcraft and all related content about that, that's why they announced RoS at Gamescom, because they dont have anything else to say about D3 and now they can at least fill that empty space with this"indepht D3 panel".
Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and they do have something to announce.

... they deliberately emptied a space in their schedule to deliberately fill it with not much?? Hm.

It's no suprise (to me) that there wasn't a lot of D3 coverage (although it's still disappointing)... Blizzard's already made a crapton of announcements. Remember also that D3X has a lot more room to move than WoW, so I'd expect a hell of a lot of iteration, especially when it goes into beta. Thanks to datamining, we already know a lot more details about what Blizzard is trying, and where they're going... and we also know that they care very about D3. You should probably put that little idea to bed.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, I meant that they dont care to show anything about D3 at Blizzcon, not that they dont care about D3 at all. They announced everything at gamescon so that they could talk about that at Blizzcon without losing focus of their biggest announcements (HoS, Hearthstone, Warcraft). Anyway this is just my humble oppinion.

    Quote from Mob_Dylan

Poor DH's, They are the middle child. I know it's still early but from the looks of things DH's are still utterly fucked. In fact they maybe more so. Again I know it's early so things might change :dh:

I'm not sure if DH's are fucked as you said, because IMO DHs are the most balance class right now, so after they'll "fix" the other classes they should all feel similar plus the new loot will also help.

hmm changes to the DH are not what I imagine and some of them seem like nerf... but I gues that now that we won't have op builds like WotB, Archon wizard or CM wizard everything will be more equal between classes... So let's see everything looks interesting.

Great work guys! and ty for the info.

I hope Loot 2.0 willbe very soon.

I tried to play D3 a few days ago again (after one year pause) and again must confirm that it's broken...
I'm trying to play Barbarian and my drop (thru lvl 13-16) was almost like 100 normal items and 5 (in word "five") magic bows. Nothing else... After lvl 16 it started to drop a bit better but again, drop is focused on DH and WD. I can swim in a pool filled by Daggers, Masks, Bows and Quievers...

6 months if we are lucky... but maybe will have ptr way before. Who knows...

    Dh Companion: Wolf companion.

I always love the idea of having a wolf as a companion but I cant find a way to make viable right now... I think that the wolf should give some kind of bonus or a buff, or even an special ability idk... I just wish it was more useful.

I don't want this game to be like WOW where you have arenas and different gear for PvP and PvE... Diablo is a PvE based game and I'm ok with that...

Ideas are great and there is only one thing I would change there.

I'm not sure why people force Gold so much. Whenever I see someone using mystic, it requires millions of gold to upgrade some items, that's just stupid.

Involve better game mechanics to upgrade items, to find certain materials, I don't know why is everyone forcing gold and Chinese farmers so much.

I don't want to farm endlessly and beg Gods for some drop so I can sell it for bunch of gold and upgrade my item. Upgrading items should be completely separated from Gold. Not everyone is getting billion worth items. I have over 1300 hours played and I m farming mp10 for past couple of months and I never got item worth more then 50 mils. Not everyone is lucky and have 160 million gold (just giving an example from your post) to upgrade an item.

I agree, not all of us have billions of gold to spend with no worries... the poor will spend som much time gathering gold that they'll be afraid of use it just for an upgrade...

Wow you have awesome ideas! great work!

Now this is my point of view:

Rarity/Drop rates: I agree that sometimes finding a legendary item is not as great as it could be, since most of them are not that great, but adding different sparkling beams will only make the more common the new yellow ones. It would be different if they show something else like they have some extra feature that will not modify its power but it would make them more unique.

Rewarding the hunt: this is idea is really cool and I always wanted something like this to be on the game. In regards of people selling them (the UI legendaries) the "self found" tag would solve it as other people suggested. But I think that adding buff can be even more awesome. Imagine that having certain achievements unluck different buffs but you can only have one active at a time. So as you progress on the game you'll unluck new achievements and new buff combinations will also be unluck so there you have and open window to add more customisation.
In-game journals with info about special items: This is a cool idea and I really liked it but I think that finding journals as drops it would be even more awesome. Le'ts say you find the journal about the "Grandfather", that journal will tell you about the sword and how it was lost, so that you now that this sword is somewhere around but only after you find the sword the info will be outdate with a cool image of the sword and more info about it. This also makes me think that we should have a room with all of our treasure to show to the world what thinks we found, like a treasure room whe you can show all of the things you've found and all the achievements you've unlucked. In that room there wiil be weapon racks with the legendary weapons you've found and all the things you want to show, like sets, things you crafted, etc.

Magic Find: I'm not sure about this, I kind of like it but I'm not sure if it is the real solution. Maybe if they add something like 15 min after you logged out to give you time to choose another act or just the same one, but I'm still don't think this is the solution.

Crafting/Slavaging: I like this idea but I don't like to force people into getting the right materials to create the item you want. After watching all the different brimstones you created I got the idea of them giving you some particular add to your item like something more of the asethitic point of view and not related with "power". What if you want to have a weapon that is on fire? or with ice particles? you just grab a brimstone of ice and you add it to your recipe to give it that extra touch.

Separate inventories: I agree with this and as you said it would be really welcome.

Gems: I like the variaton that they currently have but I think more of them should have a chance to drop on inferno from Mp1 to Mp10.

Mystic: What if there is a new kind of legendary? the ones that you create with enough effort to become more of a new kind of legendary but that you will have to rename and will obviusly be account-bound. This item will have its name in purple and it will have different types of degrees as you add to it more things. btw this is just a quick thought.

Legendaries: Yeah I really like this idea and I hope Blizzard pay a look at it.

Well great work MrMonstrosity I really enjoy reading your ideas! keep up the great work!

edit: sorry If I make any mistake writting or if it's not clear to understand. English is not my native language and I'm still learning.
