Lyndon always gives the best gifts, but in this case Harrington's Belt doesn't help much. :/

For dmg, Witching hour was already suggested, but for a helpful crowd control belt I've always liked 'Cord of the Sherma' for the blind/slow that procs pretty regularly.

The one complaint where I agree with you is "Kadala+RiF". RiF, the 100% increased legendary drop rate, the two Kadala buffs (that came totally out of nowhere and for no reason) kind of killed the game for some people. It took me 300 hours to get about ~2 sets on my wizards (yeah, I was unlucky), even more to get my first RoRG, never a Wand of Woh. Still, I think that was FINE. That is longevity. However, using RiF, Kadala, and some lootsharing I got every other class to T6 in under 30 hours playtime. Really didn't like that. That's just wrong!

I totally agree that it seems that the legendary drop rates both in rifts/bounties/campaign and from Miss Kadala, almost seemed like it became far too fast and easy to gear up your character for T6 gameplay. I initially had similar negative feelings for this, but then I had a thought: There are a lot of different and interesting builds to try that require very specific pieces of gear. The level 70 gear will become obsolete by the time the next expansion rolls around in a little over a year, so it does kind of make sense to alter the drop rates so that even casual players can have a good chance of getting all this interesting gear and having the fun of trying it out. If you break the longevity of the game into year or two year blocks, it makes a little bit more sense. Then it starts over when the next expansion hits.

I'm still searching for a Thunderfury to give the melee Demon Hunter build a try. :)

posted a message on Why are the armory stats wrong?
Since Reaper of Souls I've struggled to find any item database that was even remotely complete. D3 head has been "updating" forever and doesn't seem like it will be fixed anytime soon. I've been using a combination of several sites that have varying degrees of complete information. (Diablohub.com, Blizz's own official armory, and Diablofans :) )

A lot of really cool ideas here! I definitely feel that items like quivers, mighty wep, mighty belt and monk fist weps need some love. Just more legendary variety in general is a good thing.

I've often had the same thoughts but I do not think it will be changed. It's one thing to have the general appearance of the item, but another to mog the appearance of the effects, it would be too misleading I think. I feel you though, I guess hope for a better rolled pair of fire walkers! :D

Whenever I see someone use the word "Kiddies" or "noob/nub" in their argument, I immediately assume that person is an elitist moron.

That said, the only thing I would really change for the difficulties is to make it harder to reach T6, I honestly think this progression should take months and I worry about the longevity of the game when people are farming T6 first week. I don't care how people play, I don't even care if you bot all day and fill your bag with the best gear possible because it doesn't affect me, I just want the game to succeed and be popular for years because I love Diablo.

Since 2H croxxbows are still the best (correct me if I'm wrong) weapon choice for Demon Hunters based on that weapon bonus passive, can we say, xmog a 2H xbow to one or two 1H? Or an Xbow to a bow?

    Thanks! :)

Did this run on T2, got Leg from Wretched Queen on first run, I'll see how it goes for multiple runs. :)

I've been getting a lot of rings as well. I'll mention that the legendary I got was also ring and the third time I've gotten the same ring. (Eternal Union)

I know this is a small in the grand scheme of things, but I've noticed, having played through the field's of Misery/Highlands zones several times on different characters, that the Khazra Altars never drop anything. Not even gold.

    Bugged?

Most of mine have come from chests and vase/barrels as well, but I've also never gotten a leg from a treasure goblin, many people have the exact opposite experience however, I too will credit RNG.

posted a message on Loot 2.0 did not change a thing
Before the patch, I was farming MP4 somewhat comfortably with the best gear that I could afford on the Auction house in the hopes that I would get enough levels/dps to be able to attempt to get a hellfire ring, which is the only part of the game I hadn't done yet. There was no thought of whether or not I would get a legendary upgrade, after playing the game somewhat frequently since it was released, I had NEVER EVER gotten a legendary drop that was even remotely good for my class. I found, maybe four or five legendaries in my career.

I didn't have the gold to get the top 1% of gear (as it cost BILLIONS of gold, hilariously absurd to me, buying the best gear for "millions" and not finding upgrades yet I think is simply impossible unless you got lucky with bids or someone put something up for cheap), but I got what I could (manticore, dead man's legacy, natalya's, buriza for freeze scoundrel etc.) I didn't even bother crafting because it was largely useless except for archon armor. Why craft anything ever when you can just get a weapon with a socket, throw a red gem in it and faceroll to inferno? Or even better, one with reduced level requirement and keep it until you're 60?

What I didn't like was that most of the items were garbage and I didn't have any fun with the item hunt and basically had to turn to the AH every time I needed an upgrade to progress through difficulty levels. loot 2.0 hits and I get a legendary cloak 2 hours in and lo and behold its a new addition and the best item I've ever seen. I have also found a few more upgrades along the way and I'm pleased with the drop rate, not too fast, but I also don't feel like I'm wasting hours of playtime to get nothing or an item that will have useless stats. That next great drop feels like could be right around the corner instead of light years away. Crafting will matter, gold will matter. The possibilities feel wide open with legendary affixes, rather than narrow. I could change my gameplay completely with the right item. I love it!

Saying legendaries are useless is absurd to me, they've never been more interesting/fun/powerful. Honestly I think that the smart loot is a bit too high for rares, but it doesn't really bother me that much.

I love cursed chests, I love the density changes, I love the drop rate, I love new follower dialogue when they see elites, I love that I can play around with new builds at high difficulties and not be locked into a cookie cutter build just to survive, I love just about everything in this patch. Getting nephalem glory orbs is fun and the pools of reflection are a neat addition. I actually feel like I'm progressing and getting rewarded for my time, and the new paragon system makes leveling alts a blast.

    TLDR: I love 2.0
