Forgive me if this has already been gone over, but I couldn't find a previous thread mentioning this:
For the new legendarys that we are finding in 2.0 prior to the expansion release, are they getting added to our Xmog collection even though we can't access the mystic yet? Or does it not matter until ROS is out?
As many of you have noticed in the PTR and ROS beta, the map has been updated to include multiple levels so we can see waypoints and the current dungeon we are in. While I was playing the PTR I noticed that the waypoint map always came up first as the default and I had to give the map an extra click to view the dungeon I'm in, if I exit out and back in quickly, I go through the same process again.
This makes it quite frustrating to quickly look at where you are going or to see what you have missed in a dungeon. I was curious if there was some way to set which map you would like to view first? Is clicking into a new map supposed to hold it in place until you click to a different level and maybe its just not working well on the PTR?
If how the map functions in the PTR is how it will be in the expansion, I'd like to propose a change to either show your dungeon map first or enable an option to choose which one you'd rather see first when hitting 'M'
A new act that has everything I like in a Diablo game: death, darkness and corpse blankets. Glorious! Loot 2.0 is most excellent as well, I can actually find gear that I won't immediately salvage and legendarys that are actually good with fun/unique properties.
Also, I love the followers, I'm really looking forward to their side quests and new dialogue.
Edit: omg I forgot about transmog. I'm gonna make my DH look so fancy
Something I'd really like to see is an option to pick which gear set your follower is wearing. They basically have the same thing on for the rest of forever and I think it would be cool to have a transmog option to change it. For example, I prefer Lyndon and Eirena's nightmare gear to their end game outfits, but Kormac's end game gear is cool.
I think, because Natalya has a set in D3 and items named after her from D2 (I can't remember if there was a Natalya set in D2 or just a few items) I believe she is considered to be one of the founders of the Demon Hunter "way."
I'm a big fan of the Demon Hunters and I really hope we get an act in the future where we see their Home base in the Dreadlands.
I currently like the pet models myself. I'm really looking forward to the legendary that lets you have 3 wolfs out at once =D As far as the models are taken from WoW, it's not exactly easy to make models look different when they are as simple as just a wolf / a boar.
Yeah, I hope that legendary drops for me too.
I understand that its easier to keep skeletons and just make a new skin because the hard work has already been done (I have a degree in animation, which is why the wolf animation catches my eye and bothers me so much xD) but I think its important for a game to have an individual look. I actually liked the wolves from Diablo II quite a lot, but they would have to be updated to work in Diablo 3.
I actually like the Wolf Pet. I agree on the Boar to a point.
Rather then see new pets, I would like to see the pets bring more to the table. Especially in the group scene. Maybe some light buffs (Primary stat buff/crit damage(within reason),or passive health/resource regen to all members in the party. maybe give one the ability to instantly resurrect a player.
My .02
I dislike the wolf the most because of its awkward, limping running animation that I hated from WoW, the boar isn't too bad, but it is the same skeleton/animations overall.
I agree with them becoming more useful, currently most people just use the bat because of the extra hatred buff, but I think it would be cool to add more utilities to them, the slow/hatred regen/ and money buff are good, but something more interesting would be welcome.

I've never actually used the 'tab' for map like in D2 because I always assumed they changed it to be 'M' only. Haha, thanks!
