Surprised not to see any nerfs to Shenlongs, they'll probably come later...
One interesting change...
Hunter's Wrath (Belt): Your primary skills (reworded from Hatred Generators) attack 30% faster and deal [VALUE]% increased damage.
Think this means it'll work for every class now? Would be nice for my Shenlong's monk

I can't squee hard enough right now...
The new Crusader set looks... Pretty good... Hammer and Jump spec, I can see it working pretty well.
But the Monk gear! My crazy "Mostly dealing damage with Way of the Hundred Fists" Monk just became BROKEN AS FUCK. It's going to be awesome.

Kinda makes me thing that we won't be seeing a Diablo Xpac for a while though...

Make Area Damage proc from EVERY attack, based on Proc Coefficient (so 20% chance to proc AoE, on an 80% proc attack would mean it has a 16% chance to proc AoE)
This is the most important... Make Area damage hit the initial target. The main problem I have with Area damage and one of the main problems I've seen other people have is that Area damage is useless for single target fights (read, Rift Guardians). As long as a stat is 100% useless against Rift Guardian it will never be considered viable.
It's not like it would be overpowered against single target if it COULD proc... Even if you have 100% AoE damage, it would still only be a 20% damage boost, way lower than if you'd use those stats on CC/CD.

One of my least favourite guardians just got a well deserved "tune". It annoyed the crap out of me that his debuff was 1000x worse for melee classes then ranged, glad this will redress the balance somewhat.

I've never really been a fan of the build, but it IS build worth and fairly iconic, I could see them building a set for it.
Although seeing the way Crusaders work in high level Grifts, wouldn't be surprised if it was a zDps support set :'(

I don't quite get the Blood Shard Cap increase...
So say the patch goes live and I clear a level 30 Rift... Even if that's NOT my current best, will I still get the blood shard cap increase, or do I have to get a new personal best to trigger the cap?

Kanai's Cube
After the Season rollover, any Legendary Powers unlocked using Kanai’s Cube on a Seasonal Character will become available on non-Seasonal characters as appropriate.
At the start of a new Season, Seasonal characters will not have access to any Kanai’s Cube Legendary Powers unlocked during previous Seasonal or non-Seasonal play.

Hmmm... My Melee DH (lets just call it what it is... Ninja :p) is shaping up pretty nicely.
In the cube:
Lord Greenstone's Fan, Dagger: Every second, gain 300% increased damage for your next Fan of Knives. Stacks up to 30 times.
Chain of Shadows, Belt: After using Impale, Vault costs no resource for 2 seconds.
Elusive Ring, Ring: After casting Shadow Power, Smoke Screen, or Vault, take 60% reduced damage for 8 seconds.
Then equiped:
The set obviously
Sword of Ill Will, Sword: Chakram deals 0.01 - 0.014*100% increased damage for every point of Hatred you have.
Chakram Quiver.
String of Ears, Belt: Reduces damage from melee attacks by 30%.
And then possibly
Vambraces of Sescheron, Bracers: Your primary skills heal you for X of your missing Life.
Combined with maybe 1 defensive Leg Gem (probably Esoteric Alteration) and perma power from the set bonus' and you should be reasonably sturdy, especially with vault spam.
Also... Has anyone else noticed that for a "Melee" build, you don't actually USE any melee skills... Chakram as your generator, Impale as your spender then SP, Vault, FoK and MfD. all ranged

I believe they said they were looking into allowing Quivers to be equipped with melee weapons, so we'd be able to go with a melee/quiver combo, which would be odd, but better than SnB.
My main problem is I think this is the only set that so fundamentally changes the playstyle of a class, that you basically cannot use the playstyle before you have at least 2 (maybe 4) pieces of the set...
I mean... Look at Generator monks. You need Shenlong/2pc/SS to do viable damage, but it's possible to just run about hitting people with generators before then, you don't do amazing damage but you do ENOUGH. Or Shield Bash crusaders, you need Roland's if you're max level pushing Grifts, but you can level just fine without it.
For a melee DH, if you don't have that +1000% melee damage you're basically incapable of doing anything above normal :p.

For sure. I play casually now, but I'll be back to pushing hard once Melee DH is a viable build.

Am I the only person thinking that now Melee DH is a viable, even supported build, it's time for them to remove the Ranged weapon requirement from our generators?
I'm mostly saying this because I REALLY want to run Evasive Fire/Hardened on my Shadow Mantle DH :p.
Also, does anyone know how the new Chakram sword will interact with Shuriken Cloud? Will the damage update dynamically or snapshot?

Tbh I'm running a holy Gen build right now, but without Mirinae, simmed it out and Simplicity's Strength, Bane of the Stricken and Bane of the Trapped was way higher ST damage.
