Did you even read what I wrote ?

I just said that microtransactios is the path Activision Blizzard will take because that's where the money is. That is why they outsourced their IP to a shitty chinese company very well known for it's ripoffs P2W games.

Why the frack are they going to be vocal to the community now ? Just to get more backlash ?

Yes I did read it, and I just argumented with a fact to the stock price. It will calm down, for sure, as MTX are an ongoing trend, but the trend will have some serious problems, while here in EU, MTX will probably be forbidden. EU market gone, more stock drops.

You completely missed what I said. Twice now. It's like you are quoting me by accident.

I'm NOT talking about the goddamned stock price. What I'm saying is that we probably will never see Diablo franchise reach it's glory again on PC because it's not profitable enough. And after the BlizzCon fiasco they will think twice before addressing the community with "news". Specially the ones like "Forges are burning hot"! Multiple projects in the works!".

    Nothing strange at all...

Activision Blizzard made $4 billion in 2017 with microtransactions only.

Diablo franchise that we knew and loved is dead because it's not as profitable.

Targeting specific employees by name should be unacceptable and unforgivable. Blizzard as a company made the decisions regarding Immortal, not Nevalistis, and not any other single employee.

Not entirely true. They are not 100% exempt of responsibility just because the decisions are made by Blizzard as a company.

Each one of those people represent Blizzard and they should think very carefully before using social media.

So yes, they are still responsible for the crap they say on social media.

But they shouldn't be blamed individually for all screw ups Blizzard has done recently, so I agree with you to a certain degree.

Calling this "modding" is a stretch, but they are really nice customization options indeed.

Being a Diablo fan since I was 12, it's really painful when I see stuff like this and think of how great D3 could've been, but its abandoned instead.

(...) immaturity, and toxic part-time keyboard warriors that likes to think of itself as part of the wider more level-headed community are all too happy to disregard the fact that this is indeed just one of a number of projects, would you still be so keen to jump ship if you also had full knowledge and experience of the other games that were in development?

Because yes i agree Immortal alone might, MIGHT (if i was holding the CM position) have me looking for a different position, but it isnt alone, and at this point, work on new games is confirmed, and in those circumstances im not so sure this is something worth resigning over. For me its more a chance for someone much higher and more representative of Blizzard as a whole to step forward. make the necessary apology and follow it up with some genuine, tangible restraint and reigning in of the companys ego, which at this moment in time is talking a much better game than it is actually creating, since reskin remaster and rebrand is all thats on offer.

Please show me any Blizzard statement saying other Diablo games, besides that mobile aberration, are being developed.

Allan Adham and Wyatt Cheng have stated that they work for other PC related Diablo Stuff in an Interview.

On the interview they said the company is currently working on multiple unannounced Diablo projects for die-hard PC fans.
Those projects are not necessarily new games. They could be anything.

Nevalistis said the exact same thing a while back on that video about new projects being on the works, and here we are with nothing but disappointment.
I think people should remove the rose-tinted glasses and stop building expectations on everything blizzard says.

And just a few days later the guys from Belarus who made World of Tanks announce an aRPG coming 2019 (I guess I should add it's for PC).

This is the wonder of competitive market... other dev companies will see Blizz shat the bed and will seize the opportunity to present their own titles. I hope they do.

Seems like they finally understood the real power of the Diablo fans - might be a new beginning, who knows?

Activision has Blizzard on the leash and their goal is to increase revenue with the mobile market. They just announced the other Blizzard IPs are going mobile as well.

This "we hear you" crap is completely bull$#%t

posted a message on New Diablo in 2019?

I could be wrong but I don't feel like Diablo franchise is being taken seriously by Blizzard, so... no. I don't believe a Diablo 4 (or a reboot) will be announced next year.

Every time someone brings an idea into this forums I feel really sad, because we all know the potential this game has. If it was on the hands of people whom actually cared, that is.

I often have ideas, usually around followers. I feel utterly frustrated from how useless and unbalanced they are, but every time I'm elaborating on the idea I think "Oh wait, no one cares..." then I stop halfway through typing and delete everything.

I fear we are abandoned, my friend.

    Edit: typo

my templar is far from useless. just get creative. or read some guides^^

If you have 3 follower options but only one is worth using, something is wrong.
I used followers as example because it bothers me. It doesn't mean it should bother everyone else.
You focused in one phrase I wrote and missed the whole point of my post, I believe.

    Edit: typos

I am currently running a Crusader Hammer build and hit the wall at GR 73 solo and was thinking of changing it up, is there any benefit to running multiple season characters?

Second, is upgrading rare items then re rolling legendaries in the cube still the best way to find upgrades?

If you feel tired and bored from playing the same class over and over, why not create a second, or a third season character ?
We play to have fun after all...

And yes. I do believe Kanai's Cube is the best way to perfect your gear, through rerolls and rare upgrades.
