Posted Jun 9, 2015We understand Heroes of the Storm content isn't exactly what Diablo players are looking for, but given that this is a thematic event, lasting for a few months, and bringing over a lot of Diablo related content (map, heroes, alternate world skins) we figured it was something "Diablo" fans in general would be interested. Maybe the genre is different, but the lore, characters and theme are definitely familiar.
It's their esteemed franchise being brought over to a different genre, and one could even argue that with the absence of PvP in D3 (and any news related to it in ages) this is the best Diablo PvP experience players will ever get.
This is also not something that will happen daily or weekly (featuring Heroes news) just for the sake of it; but more of a heads-up to those who happen to like that game, who may have never tried it and got interested with the Diablo event, and who just want in general to be well informed in regards to Blizzard's new endeavours.
