Recently, we provided users the ability to merge their Diablo Fans account with a new or existing Twitch account. With Twitch account merging, we’re able to provide more streamlined account security, faster user support, and an easier log-in process. While we know some users may not see the immediate value, this allows us to be more secure by not running two large auth services and focus on one secure one (Twitch). This move also allows users the extra security of Two Factor Authentication if users so choose to enable it.
Starting on Nov 20th, 2017, all users will need to merge their Diablo Fans account with a new or existing Twitch account. If you’d like to merge your account before Nov 20th, 2017, you can do so here.
Merging your account into a Twitch account takes less than a minute, and you won’t lose any account data. Your display name, forum posts, and comments won’t be impacted at all. After merging accounts, you’ll simply log in using your Twitch credentials.

If forced, I'll just create a fake witch account.
When you say "...you won’t lose any account data.", does that mean, at all? Example, the showing of how long i'm a member.
Because although i'm not really an active poster, i do check the site everyday and i'm proud to be part of the site for "Member for 11 years, 3 months, and 20 days", and i enjoy having the bragging rights of " back in my day, the site was called diablo3.com and we didn't even had diablo3 to play yet", that comes with it.
How do we NOT merge?
Twitch here and twitch there, Twitch my ass..
what if we dont have or want a twitch account?
