The single hit Hammer of Ancients. Its a simple click to hit skill isnt it? No aoe not skill involved just running up and spamming Hammer of Ancients as much as possible = Easy runs on lower level bosses?
While watching the gameplay video for th 9nth time.
I noticed.
the bodys are fadeing away after the foes are slayed, yes i notised it earlyer aswell but i didint care/think that muth about it.
Awww, I really hope they leave corpses in the game. Other than player corpses after they are looted. I like using the trail of destruction as memory of where I've been rather than my map.

"The gaming public now has focus on Diablo again, and with it comes the modern-age of trolling and jackassery."
Auradins and items that added other class skills/auras are utterly ruining D2 as it is. I hope they keep class skills locked to that class.
A teleporting hammerdin that can single handedly take down anything in the game easily = boring...
There'd be no need for "ubers" and such if they'd not screwed up the game by making it so easy.
Well I'm not interested in items giving other classes abilities, but I surely like the teslafroster and tesladin builds. I haven't played D2 in about 6 months but I do remember having issues in hell with these toons, so it wasn't all easy or maybe I'm just a noob
actually in all truth i belive Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Sorc, Rogue, and Paldain becuase first off until expansion pac Barbarians couldnt kill in hell unless he had nearly best stuff in game. so therefore hammerdins were relied on to rush us to hell diablo and then they were relied on to kill hell diablo along with the sorcs and zons and necs
Ranger aka Hunter
- weak, high ranged attack
- skilltrees:
Ranged Weapon Mastery (bows, javelins)
Traps (traps to deal damage or immobilize enemies)
Pets (like Druid's summons, or more creative creatures)
Demonologist aka Warlock
- tough, medium melee attack
- skilltrees:
Bone (like bone spear)
Avatar (shapeshift into a demon that wields your weapons visibly, unlike werebear and werewolve in D2 where the weapons dissapear)
Furies (kind of like evil muses that hang around you and cannot be killed, and give party bonuses)
With this, there would be:
2 summoners (witch doctor and ranger)
2 sources of party bonuses (barb and demonologist)
2.5 mages (witch doctor, elementalist, and demonologist kind of)
2.5 high attackers (barb, hunter, and demonologist kind of)
Then in an expansion, there could be an assassin, or an arcane mage (maybe with a telekinetic skilltree?), or a paladin, and probably something completely new, like the Witch Doctor

Ranger - Ranged Weapon Mastery (fire a bow or javelins like a machine gun!), Traps (MK style!), Pets (lions, tigers, and bears oh my!) - physical damage based
Demonologist - Bone Spells (Necro style!), Avatar (shapeshift into a demon!), Furies (evil spirits that hang around you, giving party bonuses) - mix of physical damage and magic

Diablo without Paladin/Knight is not Diablo, there MUST be this iconic kind of guy.
Also, now that there is officialy an asian-like place (Xiansai, it HAS to be asian, it's even a goddamn island), gimme my frakkin samurai/katana-wielding character using a badass oni mask!!!
Also, some gunpowder in D3 would kick ass - but NOT Warcraft-WoW guns that don't need reload. I'm talking about some very gothic, ancient looking type of gun like the matchlock musket below... lots of smoke
Call me strange, but i think the druid has some good potential as a good hybrid. He was always like a Sorcerer/Paly-Barb combination, and was a blast to play with outside of PvP. I loved the summoning and i had a halfway decent summon/tank Druid.
I know it wasn't the best class but it had some really good unexplored potential, and it would be a shame to let him go. (here's hoping that if they don't have him in D3 he will be in the expansion.)

Ace. my exact thoughts, but maybe different names. i.e. paladin could be called a templar. and sorc could be wizard, and rogue, Assailant. i dunno some quick thoughts

I don't think there will be a samurai or katana-only-wielding class, but I think I really hope there will be samurai like armor for classes and katana wielding barbs.
If there is a samurai class though, that'd kick ass

Here are the most likely characters to return in diablo 3 .Unless blizzard changes there mind about only 5 or 7 character:
Druid:male/female>>> in his 20 or 30
Assassin:male/female >>>in her 20
barbarian:male/female>>> (in the game)
Witchdoctor:male/female>>> (maybe it will stay or not)
Paladin:male/female >>>> (maybe bet hopefully he will) in his 20 or 30
Character maybe wont be in diablo 3:
Amazon: Probably not/ bet maybe
Necromancer:He was to old in diablo 2.He was like 40 or 50
Sorceress: Probably not/bet maybe and .Because it really does not say were she from so. She probably someone you find later in the game : "One of the rebellious women who have wrested the secrets of magic"
I say this because.Diablo 3 is going by age and time so it should be about right,or maybe some similar characters.
imo, blizzard has already done enough by keeping the barbarian from diablo ii. it's always been my favorite class. many would agree that the barbarian defined diablo ii, and that one old class is enough to keep the nostalgia alive.
however, i think it'd be in their best interest to introduce three new classes for diablo iii. no rogues, no paladins, no assassins; a fresh new start. i would really like to see something that deviates from the new game's predecessor as well as world of warcraft.
it's a given that nobody wants old abilities and classes appearing in a new game, but there's always a chance that it will happen.
i'm not big on ideas right now -- it takes more than a day to think of new classes for what looks to be a promising best-selling game -- but i'm thinking that it'd be beneficial if blizzard took a step away from the cookie-cutter healer, assassin, spell caster theme and brought in something nobody's seen before.

I actually know where you're coming from and strangely enough, i agree. I think it'll be quite cool if they have totally new classes/characters with totally new skills.
We're all pretty darn pro when it comes to all the other characters from d1 and d2 so it'll be a fresh new challenge to have totally new classes.
As for how/what they do, that's totally not in my league. Maybe i'll come back with more ideas later...
However from my previous posts, i did like the idea of the dark sorc. Maybe sorc/assassin/amazon mix.
I don't know that would be my ultimate feministic combo!
Overall even though the Assassin wasn't the best in D2... they had my favourite skill set in martial arts... the ability to build up combo points and unleash them for deadly consequences was one of the most fun characters I played (Dtail + Tiger Strike)
I really hope one of the characters utilizes that. Whether it is as the above poster mentioned in a monk/hoyl form... or in a Amazon hybrid, using ranged attacks to get charges and once baddies get too close, unleash them in a devastating melee attack...
There just needs to be a finese physical character to accompany the brut force of the barb.

- Rogue(Archer/Trapper) class,
- Mage(Elemental/Nature Controller) class
- Zealot(Paladin/Enchanter) class
....my educated guess
Anyway, here's what I think the classes will be, along with D2 style skilltrees:
Barbarian
- tough, good close combat attack
- skilltrees:
Combat Moves (slam, leap, charge)
Close Combat Weapon Mastery (mainly passives)
Shouts
Witch Doctor
- weak, medium ranged attack
- skilltrees:
Undead Magic (zombie wall, zombie dogs)
Earth magic (fire bomb, locusts)
Curses (horror)
Elementalist aka Sorcerer
- weak, low ranged attack
- skilltrees:
Ice
Fire (including volcanic spells)
Lightning
Ranger aka Hunter
- weak, high ranged attack
- skilltrees:
Ranged Weapon Mastery (bows, javelins)
Traps (traps to deal damage or immobilize enemies)
Pets (like Druid's summons, or more creative creatures)
