My family and I have some traveling to do just prior to May 15. I reminded my wife that we have to be back and she retorted with "I know, I know....Diablo 3" And I smiled. I asked her if I should pick her up a copy and then she really threw me off....she said she would like that. Venus must be aligned with Mars or something....
So, I was watching my wife play yesterday, and apparently wizards can use 2 handed swords. She was runnin around with a huge flamberge and every time she swung it a magic missile would come out, kinda funny.

"The Unchosen" Pain of Admirance Sigil (For those without -Feat of Strength-):
Really not sure why you're saying that. He seemed up for it (he plays stuff like Foldit already anyway), just wasn't really sure where to go with it. I think DIII is a great game to pull someone in from, because it should be pretty friendly with new players, and it's one of the few decent games for Macs.
The fact that the guy is quite aloof/semi-hostile may be a bigger problem...
I wish my lady was so enthusiastic about this too.
I did succeed in making her try it at least, the result was both hilarious and disturbing
I'm not sure if my favorite part was watching her struggle for 5 seconds to click on the first zombie, trying to read signs and talk to everybody in town, climb walls, asking if she could change her hair, playing a Monk because "she looks like Pink"
But i think the winner is " eww gross I don't want to wear pants from a zombie!"
Your problem may be that the girls you seek out (of standard attractiveness/hotness) generally carry traits that do not really coincide with gaming. The reason I say this is because gamer girl population is actually not small at all, they're effing everywhere, yet nobody seems to be dating them. A serious gamer girl isn't there for your amusement or as your doormat. A lot of us are more down to earth in the whole pretty-pink-gross department, which often makes us unattractive to guys who are only interested in barbie dolls who spend 4 hours choosing their dress or making their hair.
Just saying. You get what you're looking for and nothing else. This is not any better than a guy looking for a woman with a PhD degree to be a stay-at-home mom. Not that it can't happen, but it doesn't make much sense.
