I have question about the damage of skill. now that skill are based on weapon damage percentage....is damage calculated only based on your weapon or attack and gear that increase attack also influence the damage.
for example if you have 10 dps weapon and skill that does 120 weapon damage than the output will be 12 dps
but what if you have +ATTACK GEAR WILL IT INCREASE IT?
Yes, gear with +attack, etc will increase the damage.
In game on your character sheet, near the bottom it says your DPS. This is the DPS of your basic attack. If you mouse over it, it says this:
"Your damage per with your currently equipped weapons using Basic Attack against an unarmored target. This amount includes damage bonuses from your Attack, Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage Bonus, Traits and any active effects. It does not take into account damage increases from your skills and runes."
So, whatever that number is on your character sheet, it takes into account all those stats, and then your skill damage is based off that number.
