I'v never made a poll before so I felt like making one to see how everyone on the forum feels about my personal favorite tv show, House. So vote and voice your oppinions
HAHA! And yeah you must have been quick on the draw silver cause I made the poll right away haha. And my sister is gay for Jesse Spencer(Dr. Chase) so that gets annoying. I watch the new ones like I'm gunna die if I miss them.
Yeah. I love his overall attitude. He's an ass to everyone which would be hated in real life but because it's not real it makes it funny. He does what everyone wants to do in those situations. He puts the stupid people in their place and to hell with the consequences. I just hate when people get on his case about vikadin and they turn that into half the season.
Tea? What, are you English? And as for the show, how could anyone like that crap. You gotta watch the good stuff, like Family Guy and South Park!
That's what he was saying. Hugh Laurie IS English. He has an accent. I also love Family Guy and South Park. I'm watching the new South Park right now as a matter of fact.
But back to topic. Yes, it's wierd as hell for me to hear him talk normally. I saw a full season without knowing he was British. Still, it doesn't change anything for me. Doesn't make the show wierd for me but that's just because it was the first show I've seen him in. My chemistry teacher, however, LOVED him in his earlier English comedies and now can't watch House because it is way too wierd for her.
I liked the show when I first began to watch it. There is little innovation in the progress of the episodes. Watch one episode you've pratically seen all of them.
---A scene with two unfamiliar characters. One falls down
---Witty sarcasm from House.
---Alot of people standing around throwing terms out that most people don't understand. They just know it's suppose to be a snazzy medical term.
---Each treatment or diagnoses turns out to be wrong until the very end of the show
---The returning characters debate with House how cold he is towards human life.
I'm not really exaggerating either. Each episode has the same ingredients, same concepts. House becomes so predictable after watching more than 2 episodes.
srry dude, but i just cant stand the way house is. it's not that he's different from everyone, but it's just annoying. i have to change channels everytime that show is on cuz i dislike it sooo much.
As someone who has always had a healty disliking of medical shows, real and fake alike, I like House. The main reason I guess is Hugh Laurie, he plays the part perfectly, the writing for him also helps with his attitude. And riding that sexy Repsol bike helps a bit

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.

*teacup anyone?*
Baddassery = 0
Not one of the crap filled comedies you get nowadays. A real show. Lovely. Now time to get back to my tea, eh?
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
