I want you guys to see this. It's why I'm becoming a vegeterian.
When chickens are born, their beaks are cut off, so they don't kill each other in the cages. However, no anesthetic is given, and a chicken's beak is full of nerves, unlike a hoof or a tusk, resulting in an ample amount of pain. After the beak is cut off, chickens are put in a small and overcrowded cage. The chickens higher in the cage realease their waste, and the chickens at the bottom get their feet glued to the floor of the cage because the fecal matter. When it's time to kill them, they are taken out, and when the chickens at the bottom are pulled, their feet are ripped from their bodies. After this comes slitting the throat. A machine is aimed at the chickens neck, and a blade cuts it to kill the chicken. Nevertheless, since animals then to move, every seventh or eigth chicken does not get it's throat slit. The supposedly "dead" chickens are then lowered in a boiling canister, and the live ones are simply boiled to death.
This is not the exact quote, just reworded carefully and made less dramatic due to the fact that there might be some queasy people here. Enjoy your KFC.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
*shruggs* It's called industrialization. Or progress. Or whatever you may choose to call it. Accept it and get used to it. There are greater problems to worry about than the pain of many animals. You want lower prices - that is how they get the lowest prices possible...

Eating no meat at all is bad for you.
Yeah I know, but I'm a little kid and I'm horrified by this stuff. But a lot of kids I tell this to, my only comment from them is: "You're not serious are you? They don't do thaaaat!"

I think the process of dying while being eaten by some sea animals I read about is not much better than this. Animals suffer a lot in nature, for your information.
This is how the world works. Perhaps one day, this will be inversed. Except for chickens killing us it may be machines like on the matrix or aliens from another planet. Think about that.

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
Am I the only one who thinks AlphaX's "spam"-threads are very... non-spammish compared to very, very much outside of the spam forum?
Anyways, humans were made to eat meat, it's unnatural and potentially dangerous to be entirely without it. If what you care about are the animals' rights you should check the products. Quite a few are marked with some kind of a 'green' symbol (here at least), which should guarantee the wellbeing of the animals. Not every meat producer treat the animals like rubbish, and the ones that are are quite certainly decreasing in number because of green activity and awareness.
It's a good thing you care. I don't. At least not as much as I should.

"So I like climb out the window and I fall because we’re on the third floor , but it’s cool, because I land where my arm used to be, but it’s not there so it doesn’t hurt. And I’m thinking, yeah, man, this no arm thing is kinda chill."
To diablo fenatic
I'm pretty sure it's already happening.
And I gotta ask:
When chickens are born, their beaks are cut off...
Er... I don't imagine a chicken picking up seeds without a proper beak... how in the world are they fed?
To MijnWraak (yes, I can read deleted posts, duh!)
Well, that is why I am asking. They also need to be fed, however horrible. It seems far-fetched to me in this situation that the beaks would be cut off. It would be more expensive to feed them without beaks, you see.
heh i deleted because i didnt really know the answer so it didnt seem appropriate to try to answer.
meh, idk watch a PETA video on youtube lol. If you survive the crude images of slaughtered, suffering animals that they flash into your brain, theyll probably show us feeding.
Guess what. They're starved. They go weeks without food.
Tis not possible. Animals can hardly survive without food. In fact, they become thinner and it would be noticeable on the chickens you buy. Moreover, eating such chicken would not be healthy.
It says "chicks". Chicks DEFINITELY need a lot of food to survive. Or they'll just die without leaving shit to eat. Even for McDonalds, which are the primary users of food produced in a ragged manner.
This just makes no sense whatsoever to me. Or maybe it's some derelict factory producing some derelict chicken meat God knows why and God knows for what stores.

I don't think anyone could bear doing that...
Ripping their feet off? You know how awful that would be to do that?... No one could do that...
And having two stacks of chickens? Why not just have a them beside eachother? There is no logic in that.
Let me ask you this AlphaX, if plants and other vegetation could speak, scream, and express their emotions as the result of human to animal 'cruelty', just as well as animals can, would you still be a vegetarian? If plants could scream in pain when farmers pluck them off their homes, breaking their stems and tearing their stems, while not even caring about the screams and crys of anguish the vegetables suffered, would you still be a vegeterian? If the only reason you are becoming a veterian because you see the treatment animals recieve, then I would have to say you are pretty dumb. Dumb because you choose only to see the way animals behave to such cruelty but completely ignore the fact that plants and vegetation suffer the same thing-animals eating them alive while they are still living. If plants had someway to express themselves, e.g a voice, while chickens became completely mute, paralyzed, 'frozen', and there was absolutely no way to tell the 'emotions' felt by the animal, and if the blood instead spurt like crazy, but stay in place like plants, would you still be a vegeterian? Would you be a vegertian if plants suffer through being forced to accept polluted water/air, insects eating holes out of them, while you only look at the animal life?
Seriously, its something to think about. Not trying to flame you here >_>;
Plants don't have emotions, seeing as they have no brains. Yeah, anyway, I asked you guys for an opinion, and I see what you mean. I guess I'll still eat meat. Ew, sounded wrong.

Guess what. They're starved. They go weeks without food. Yeah but if I get sick w/e it's back to meat because the nutrients are needed.
To the first part, I only put them in SPAM because I don't want my post count to go up sky-high.
Secondly, so you're saying everything not natural is bad? Because you said it in a bad way. So get off your PC, it's not natural.
