Im trying to get into TQ now actually....what kinda issues did it have? Anything to keep you from having fun?:offtopic:
Well they might have patches for it now i dunno havent played it in a while. where do i begin though for some reason as i leveled up it slowed it down and it become lagfest 2003, however what stopped me playing it was at the end of the first act i was taking like one hit to kill minions and 2 hits to kill minor bosses and 4 hits to kill the big boss got to the second act i couldnt even take on more than one minion it was really wierd like i should have levelled up alot more than i was on, like i should have gained like ten levels in the cinematic between the first and second act. not to mention the probably 30000 times it just decided to shutdown. my opinion good idea, stupid game...
Ive recently been playing TQ also. The first time I played through my character got his ass kicked and I went back to the drawing board, selected a new class, and so far have played through the first 3 acts feeling like I was always 2 steps ahead of the game in terms of how good my character was. I did not experience any lag issues. The game has crashed for me once in about 70+ hours of gameplay. What I really like about TQ is the ability to pick 2 classes and mix between the skills. However without something like Bnet its really only good as a single player game.

I agree with this two classes thing but as you said you get your ass kicked and its really hard to balance them out. it was a good idea not enough effort put into the game though. if blizzard did it, it would have been pretty good.
70% Demon Hunter--Kind of like the Boroughs character mentioned in the bestiary about the borrower. Would use bows, snares, camouflage and such.
30% A samurai typed class. Don't ask why, this one just seems to make sense to me.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]"Fool! You have just ensured the doom of this world. You cannot even begin to imagine what you've set in motion this day. Go to the Temple of Light, in the eastern ciry of Kurast. There you will find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate Marius. Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed. Now run! Take the stone and run!"

I could definitely see a Samurai being one of the classes, because they can't have the only sword and shield wielding class be the barbarian. As I've said before, I predict a Knight...which would basically be a rehash of the Diablo 1 Warrior but with new skills. However I think the Samurai is also a great bet to fill this role.
To understand this thread, I'm going to backtrack to the release of the barb and WD
As I was reading some articles and forums that occurred when the gameplay vid was released, Jay Wilson commented that the WD was not like the necromancer. Similar in a few ways, but not meant to be a remake of a beloved class. I read a few polls, and most people predicted a MAGE class for the 3rd class release. the wizard, Wilson says, is not a "mage" character. she doesn't only have elemental skills (read the skill tree people. shes not a sorc). Of the 3 classes, only the barb is a copy (DUH!!!).
To the point - most people think that blizzard is following a strict class guideline from diablo 2. news flash - they're not. sure, they look like a necro and sorc from just a glance, but imo the wizard and WD are quite unique classes. so why should blizzard make a new amazon and paladin?
In your eyes, this may be completely false. but i'm just trying to make a point, blizzard is much more creative than you think.

Really nice info, but I would like to see some links.
Well yeah, we know blizzard will be coming up with cool new classes with cool combinations of skills. Who said we are only thinking that they will do another simple amazon and paladin? I have never heard that. Yes, I believe they are making a ranger-type class and heaven-knows what else, but that doesn't mean its going to be an amazon. The devs stated that they are making archetypal classes, which means yes, they will look like a magic-user, a melee fighter and a ranger at a glance. They will always look like that at a glance, but Blizzard is clever enough to make them unique. I don't even understand what you're trying to say, noone believes that the amazon or paladin are coming back exactly. Of course they aren't, even the barb hasn't returned exactly.
Ugh, this thread is stupid. You're throwing anger at people who don't exist, and because they don't exist your anger ends up landing on people like me, in turn making me angry.
I'm merging your thread with another class-discussion thread, Murderface Cody.
I really have no idea what the next class is going to be, but I thought it would be cool if there was a "rogue" type class like in WoW, but better. idk just an idea.
