so I've tried to find stuff about playing d2 and wc3 on the mac os 10.7.1 and i guess theres something called "power pc' that is no longer supported... but i was wondering if i could somehow download something (NOT windows) to make it so i can play it on my mac, OR if apple/blizzard is planning on implementing a fix for this in the near future? i mean blizzard must know that no one with the latest mac OS can play any of their old games... any info on this subject would be great! thanks!
Some time ago before the launch of Lion, Blizzard said the older games are no longer supported (as of 10.7).
Official Blizzard Quote:
This summer, Apple is scheduled to release Mac OS X 10.7, Lion. Due to advances in Mac operating systems, StarCraft, StarCraft: Broodwar, Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction will not run on 10.7.While these titles will not be able to run natively in 10.7, they should still be able to operate under Boot Camp. And of course, we will still support these titles running in 10.6 and below natively. At this time, we expect Warcraft III to run natively in Mac OS X 10.7. As Lion's release date gets closer, we look forward to having more details for our Mac community. For more information about Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, please see Apple's website: http://www.apple.com/macosx/lion/
i read that, but it doesn't say anything about wc3... and wc3 won't work either....

they said expect, and from the way blizzard has been running itself lately, they of course, expected wrongly.
maybe sometime in the foreseeable future they, or apple, will fix the issues.
im running 10.6 atm, but ive got 10.7 ready for upgrade, thinking i should stick with 10.6 for the time being now...

Warcraft 3 runs fine in Lion. However the installer/updater does not. So, you need to have WC3 installed and updated completely before upgrading to Lion (10.7.x).
Diablo 2 won't work at all, regardless of how you install it. At this point the only way to play is to install 10.6 or Windows.
