Roman numerals yes, but how do they come into this conversation? I don't see any X's anywhere.
EDIT: Nevermind, you were talking about my siggy. Yea that's really obvious it's the easiest hypotenus to solve, using Pythagorams theorem (spelling is probably wrong there). X also equals 5 in roman numerals.

no that would be 'v' 'x' is 10 in roman numerals

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Oops...usually I'm good with roman numerals lol. Obviously, not today. L=50, C=100, D=500, M=1000 etc. I wonder I messed that up though...Sir Sofa can vouch that I know roman numerals.
I would be willing to pay monthly for D3 only if hacks such as dupes were eliminated. Items being duped ruined D2 LOD and if paying however much a month eliminated that I would do it.

Ya, there's some rule, like 12-5-13... What was the rule? You take a number, the hypoteneuse(13), take the number below it(12), and take another number, I forget the formula to determine the last number(5). Oh, and it only works for some numbers. Forgot that part.

its a squared + b squared = c squared
5 and 12 are a and b 13 is c.
works for any 90 degree triangle c is hypotenuses
dunno how to make it say squared with a lil 2

Dream as if you'll live forever, and live as if you'll die today. "James Dean"
You forgot to add an option for avid fanboys that will pay over 15 a month for a new Diablo title.
Too bad Diablo III will not be MMO - No monthly fee anyway, but this should be interesting. Weeee!
I chose "No" because - I would prefer to not to pay a monthly fee for anything, even cable, and internet! - but hey, if it's that goog, I just may pay 19.99 a month for awesome Diablo III!
LarryNC, there's no rule that says "only MMOs can charge a subscription fee". I don't know where you get this idea. The company will charge whatever they think people will pay for it. So answer the question. WOULD you pay a monthly fee for D3, even if it was not a MMO? Yes or no.

i haven't heard of non-mmo's being p2play, care to list some for me?
There is a warcraft 3 + xpac, WoW + Xpac + another Xpac, now Sc 2(Xpac anyone?) then perhaps D3.
I prob wouldn't pay a monthly fee if it wasn't an mmo, mmo's are typically P2P that doesn't mean they all have to be P2P its just most are because of the costs to produce more / new content, fast reliable servers, customer support, patches etc etc, the list is endless, don't forget the upgrading of hardware.
But if D3 turns out to be an MMO(i dont want it to be cause WoW is gay) we need our great hack n slash series to come onto the scenes imo. WoW isn't a Sequel to the Warcraft franchise, blizz reps have stated that, its like a branch off the main trunk. Hopefully we get a sequel which tells us what the hell happens to Sanctuary after the worldstone was destroyed, what happened to baals soulstone, and where does the "new" hero come into play?
Recently blizz upgraded Battle.net's coding to Bnet 2.0(as most people call it), this allows a whole new set of features for blizz to use, im sure they won't tell us what they upgraded, just stuff for Starcraft atm, Blizz reps have also stated that Starcraft 2 will not be pay 2 play(remains to be known upon release).
I guess most have read all the interviews from blizz reps, saying "Blizzard doesn't want to be known as an MMO only company, we let the developers decide what they want to do." Then Starcraft 2 was announced, and later on a new WoW Expansion(oh how great, i feel sorry for new people 1-80 sucks)WotLK - Wrath of the Lich King. With a Team 3 working on a Supremely Awsome Unknown Title atm, 40 people working on it, same size as Sc2, and it is not WoW or Sc based, one could only imagine what is it =)
I Believe Team 3 is working on D3, or a New title / series, either way its a 50/50 split(thats pretty high).
But to the point, Blizz has released an MMO with 2 Expansions, and announced a new Non-MMO game, Starcraft 2, they have stated they "want" to return to all franchises.
So, my final answer is If D3 is an MMO i won't pay for it, if it isn't thats even better
You see, that's what my spam is. Wholesome spam that follows the thread, but is completely off-topic.

Huh? What's Pythagorean Triples?

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
