I would like to see d3 have their first act to be at their homeland for each and every character. Then by the second or third act, the story will blend into one. (Where every different character meets for the rest of the game.)
To clarify, say you are a Paladin, you start off in Westmarch and do quest there, like fend off your city from hordes of demons. You are successful and chase the hordes to the second act, where everyone else meets. Let's just call it Rogue Encampment. The Amazon will start off in her homeland and so on and so foward.

Those whom have taken in the wicked, shall be punished by thy Lord.
Those whom have trechered into the dark, shall be smited by thy Light.
What do you guys think about the trophies idea. For major monsters, you keep their head or horn . . .etc. And also if we could have that old kill list from diablo.

Some things I would like to see added to the Master List:
Weapons/Items -Decorate your armor or weapons. Have monster's ribs sticking out from the spine of your armor. -Have real visual damage on armor or weapon. Gameplay Mechanics -Not to have a limit of gold stored according to your characters level. -When deadly strike, show character pierce sword through a monsters head or something. Other -Have a button used to set up a block/parry. -Have a trophy chest. For storing demon body parts -Have nuetral animals (besides birds flying around in Act 3)

What would be cool for Diablo III is TP's to different locations. Like TP from World Stone Chamber to Icy Cellar to constrict Baals movements. Use this new feature to strategize.

I would like to see more water based enemies (leviathans/mosasaur looking creatures). Also, our characters being able to enter a realm of water wouldn't be such of a bad idea either (swimming/water walking).
I've been thinking on how they'd incorporate this, and the relation to this idea would be Champions: Return to Arms (an old console game). It had a quest where you would need the blessing of a mermaid (in Diablo 3's case it doesn't have to be so) to be able to enter a realm of water. The only downside to this was the "cheesy" adaptation to water your character inherits. He/She simply walks on the ocean floor, and it doesn't seem to fit well with me. The only other way would be to incorporate the "Oblivion point of view", in which case would change the way Diablo 3 is ever played.
Still, it would be nice to fight a giant sea serpent or two. It could also be a great way to flee from a monster/pk who does not have the ability to walk on water/survive underwater. It simply expands the gameplay to an even greater level.
Anyway, here is an old mod for Diablo 2 named Ancestral Recall and it's supposedly from one of its makers/animators as well. It features giant Cyclopses in Act 2, and a different Treehead Woodfist (in the shape of what looks like the Ents in Lord of the Rings), a different looking Bloodraven, different looking Fangskin, evil Iron Golems just to name a few. You might want to check those screen shots out.
I will also like to suggest, more unplayable allies in the fighting. Act 5, they fullfilled that, but i am talking about all acts. The only unplayable character you see outside of town besides of act 5 is the rogue outside of Blood Moore.

What other way can users on battle.net find uniqueness instead of different armor and weaponry? It gets kinda old when you see 3 Paladins and 5 Barbarians on a BN game that looks the same. Blizzard should try to incorporate some type of adjustment for users to use to stand out from others. That would be more interesting even more on Battle.net

What would be sweet to add on D3 is body and facial adjustments. Make your hair long or short; be skinny, muscular or fat; be 3 feet tall or 10 feet tall. That will add alot of creativity to your character, even more in battle.net. I do like the idea of an additional skill tab for all characters.

These are supposed to be hell's minions, isn't the element water, the complete opposite of hell's description?
