What monsters from either of the previous two installments would you like to see return to the world of Diablo and why?
These are the monsters I want to have return:
From Diablo I: Overlords, Acid Spitters, Maelstroms, Hidden, Horned Demons
From Diablo II: Fallen, Claw Vipers, Sand Raiders, Venom Lords
Overlords:
They were very big and brutal in the first game, and how can you forget the Butcher?
Acid Spitters:
In large packs, these monsters could destroy you in a matter of seconds, especially if you had to walk across their acid splatters.
Maelstroms:
I don't really know why I want these to return. I guess I think they would look really bad-ass with new graphics and skills.
Hidden:
These monsters were easy to defeat, but their random appearing and disappearing was very enigmatic, and kept your eyes open.
Horned Demons:
These monsters were pretty cool, but they didn't seem very aggressive in Diablo. Boost the aggression and let em fly!
Fallen:
I think the Fallen have made Diablo and Diablo II classical, and why not make the third installment a classic by adding them once more. The Diablo I guide does say how they like to mate, so there can be plenty of them again.
Claw Vipers:
I thought these monsters were very cool, I just thought some new techniques and skills added to these monsters would make them awesome.
Sand Raiders:
These guys just made Act II for me. For some reason, I thought they fit the desert atmosphere PERFECTLY. I loved their four arms and fire/ice capabilities. They could build on those features a little more.
Venom Lords:
Without a doubt, seeing a Venom Lord makes you automatically think "Diablo". One thing they could add to them is the feature to fly into battle. They don't have wings so they can just stand all day!

Hehe, just because you don't have problems with them now doesn't mean you won't in Diablo III
