It looks similar in the inventory as it does on the guy. You peoples haven't been watching that video at least once every day since the announcement? Weiiird.
Very sure they said armor pieces will look different to different classes and genders. So if a barbarian trades his gladiator-lookin' armor with bull horns to a witchdoctor, the witch dude will see it look like a pile of leaves. And if a female barbarian trades her top to a male barbarian, you won't have to see his man cleavage.
I'm kinda bummed about this. I would like the armor to look different from say a male to female barbarian, but i wish it would look similar between classes.
it was cool. I think having dyes will give each person more room to make their character their own, and will diversify the look of everyone in D3. If we leave this up to gems, then we'll see more people who will look alike. Example: wizards using sapphires on their helms in D2.
Im hoping for some sort of dye system. I love that I can get my armor to look cohesive no matter what gear i have and and what lvl I am. However I don not want a dye system that includes yellows, oranges, purples. Realistic is still the key. Silver, gold, black, red, chrome.
wow, i didn't even think about that. I would LOVE IT if they had a dye system. I always try and make characters color coordinated in some fashion.
I'm not sure if this has been covered, if so, then I apologize.
I think that the equipment we find in Diablo 3 should look the same on the character, as it does in the inventory. Perhaps the armor should be handled similarly in D3 as it was in D2, diff classes having different looks for differents types of armor. But I think weapons should definitely look the same on the character as they do on the inventory screen. It just made me sad when I would find a really cool looking unique sword, axe, or bow, and then when i used it it looked like any old generic weapon.
This isn't a huge deal, just something I would like to see.
I fully agree. One thing i didn't like is when in playing in single player D2, when i would finally get ancient armor for my necromancer, one of the shoulder pads would turn from a skull to just a leather pad. What's with that? I would love it if everything you wore is what you saw in the inventory screen.
