From what i've seen, spike trap builds were looking like shit, maybe nobody looked into a group optimised version, but I don't think we'll see this build unless they buff it before the patch is released
UPDATE : I've Done a GR92 in 11 minutes with the Support Wizard .
Support Wiz Paragon 960 , Support Barb Paragon 1500 , DPS Witch Doctor fully augmented paragon 1200 and DPS Witchtor really low augments paragon 1100.
Survivability wasn't an issue but healing would've been nice , that's why I think monk will be better than wiz for supporting 2 WD but if we take the Generator Monk as up there in the post, it could probably go quite high.
It could maybe be a couple GR bellow the 2 WD but still a lot different and more dynamic meta
Don't you remember last season, there was an attempt to break the wizard meta. The meta could've been Wizard Support, WD Zdps , Barb Zdps and Elemental Arrow Demon hunter. But it made the game lag too much. Saying that The wizard can stack up ennemis with more density so stacking area damage is more efficient. And Monk is less likely to make the game lag IMO.
And even then the wizard support would've been viable, but now that all support besides the Wizard zdps have been nerfed, I think it could get him a spot and you shouldn't dismiss this right away
1 Support Barb : As usual (full support or LoN support)
1 Witch Doctor DPS as in the actual 2.4.2 meta (helltooth)
1 Generator Monk : http://www.d3planner.com/815767225
Doesn't need cyclone oppening up for a healing skill perhaps, Since the Black hole stacks mobs really dense. The monk (and even the WD) can stack area damage more effectively
I wanted to know what's your toughts on this 4 man composition!

Other update: I think that a Dagger dps DH would also be an option for testing as the 2nd DPS next to the WD : http://ptr.d3planner.com/845726630
While dealing a ton of damage to elites and the boss, he's buffing the other member (mainly for WD) : 50% DR (turret + numblng traps) , 15% damage)
