I think we are looking at "Farming Inferno" int he wrong sense, we are so stuck on how Diablo 2 was to "farm" and its simply wont be the same.
Specificly it won't be the same pace that Diablo 2 was.
I'm guessing inferno is tuned so that you are spending lets say an hour or 2 clearing 1 area maybe more based off the comments of "even elite players taking weeks / months to finish acts". Therefore you can't look at it as "im forced to farm only act 3 and 4" because it simply wont be looked at on that scale. Come Inferno you won't be messaging you friend saying "Lets go clear act 1 Inferno" I think it will be "Lets go smash our face on The Weeping Hollows for an hour".
This essentially nullifies being forced into end act's for farming think much smaller scale which actually in turn makes every section of the entire game now a farming spot and not a generalised act.
Yes the best of the possible best items will now drop from the very end act's but you will have SO MUCH choice even within those acts for farming spots. People are talking as if all the sudden they are stuck farming just Azmodan and it's Baal runs all over again.

Give me a break, You will be farming the entirety of Inferno act's and getting your ass handed to you by "nerf'd" content, this games going to be epic you tards!
:Regardless it doesn't change the fact that they state you WILL NOT stroll through any of the Inferno content, so whats the problem?
Not one of us have even seen any inferno content yet we are calling nerf's how do you know it didn't need nerfing even for the "elite players"?

We made Act III and Act IV really, really brutally hard, for the most elite players only. It felt wrong to make ALL of Inferno that brutally hard.
What don't you understand in this sentence ? All inferno was brutally hard, and now Act 1&2 are less brutally hard. That's a fact ! They didn't made act 3&4 harder than it was before.That's a fact !
And i really liked the fact you could farm wherever you wanted in the game, doing "baal run" again just broke the most interesting feat. ( farming 2 last acts are not "Baal run", but it shorten the farming spot choice by half)

These are ENTIRE ACT'S we are talking about here, 2 of them and from my understanding the last acts have the highest chance of dropping the highest possible rolls on items but the rest of inferno can still drop the items just the chances aren't as high.
They said A perfect roll from act 1/2 will outdo a not so perfect roll from Act 3/4 thats a good balance, you can still happily farm the first acts and get some of the best gear in the game, its only for the absolute, total, elitest, Min Max'er that will "Need" act 4 drops.
Slightly more towards you is like above I read that statement as they made the last 2 acts harder, and NOT the first 2 easier.
I am one of those minority that will play the crap out of the game and consider myself a very hardcore Diablo fan and "good" at the game.
And I approve of this change, it made no sense to me to have a flat level playing field, why would I ever go past act 1 ever in inferno if there was the exact same chance of end game items.
It's intention is farming items, at this point im not longer looking at the story or what i'm killing i'm looking at item explosions, I don't care if its act 1 or act 4.
With this change it makes it worth playing through to the end and gives you a reward for it, how can people NOT want that?
