Does the DPI difference make a difference?
The logitech appears to have up to 1600 DPI, unless I'm reading something wrong.
G500 looks butt ugly.
Seems full of win besides that, though. 5700 dpi, 10 buttons...
Some reports about bad buttons though, both on this one and on the 518. My MS mouse still works fine 8 year later.
On my side it's been only 3 month that I have the G500, so I can't give you an accurate feedback on the durability. However, after 3 month no sign of failure

Playing games like: WoW, COD, D2, SC2, Fallout3, etc.
You can add some weight to calibrate how heavy you want the mouse. On my side I just put all the heavier mass so it feels more accurate and ''stick'' on the table.
I'm using this mouse on Solidworks and the match is perfect. Just cost around 60$.

Agree with you. This mouse is awesome, I have this one and the G500. Actually I prefer de G500.
