Well, that could be a valid assumption however stupid.
I didn't actually care that much so looking at the post count and join date of every entry would have been dumb.
And so you say to yourself "Ninjosaur, then why did you go and look at the winner after he was announced the winner?"
Hhhmm...IDK, maybe because it was announced?! I saw that the winner was someone I had never heard of before so I then went to go check out who it was. Simple as that.
You seem to misinterpret my rants here as a lot of people do. When I go on rants like this, it's not a matter of me being angry about not winning or anything, but rather the simple principle of the matter that I choose to defend and shed light on as opposed to remaining silent. Cliche as that is, it's the truth. And I know there are a few people out there who agree with me.
I simply happen to be the only person who speaks up about it.
Since we are among friends here, then let me tell you that I greatly appreciate your honesty.
However if you can no longer differentiate between honesty and rudeness, then it's your bad.
And you were downright rude in this thread- the reason why I am posting here.
I ain't here to lecture you. You know already enough. You just haven't realized it.
secard was generous with the beta keys giveaway and he felt part of the community. This should be enough.
But apparently not for you, as you suddenly start to put forward your standards on what 'belong-to-the-community' is defined by.
You just forgot something- it's not you who's giving away the keys, so your standards are undesirable in such a context and you looked no more than a sore looser by criticizing both the winner and the prize-giver.
Just knock it off guys. You are starting to sound like a bunch of sore losers.
@ Lt and Reptar- too little too late. When you posted your number in the thread and hoped to win, didn't you see any problems then? Why didn't you complain? Surely you must have realized what your competition was. By your own logic, secard shouldn't be giving this SC2 key here at all because he couldn't have contributed much according to you (what with 7 posts and all). He still said he liked the place and that was a good enough reason...until he gave it away to another member with a low post count that is.
Still, I think secard basically shoved his own face into dung the moment he mentioned his 2 year rule, but he made up for it by actually considering half the users' posts in this thread who didn't meet the requirement. The 2 year rule served its purpose in the end. No user registered on this site just for the key, like was seen in the other giveaway-beta-key thread.

I was about to go into a megarant post when you posted again.
Oh btw, that's much more like you(at least the idea I have of you...*hint* *hint*- dfans the movie  ).
Here a cookie.

What is this devilry!?!
