But who? Just who will sacrifice himself to pick the most epic of epic weapons?
Not me...I have the skeletal-throwing-mage skill. Its enough to pawn anyone.
Grabs wand and I summon a skeletal mage but he's so useless.
I grab him by his leg bones and twirl him round and round and round and throw him at you.
This is my ULTIMATE ranged technique. I can also use a bow to send the mage but he's twitchy. He prefers to be thrown.
But that's disgusting! Don't you know that this leg got blood on it?
My clothes are gonna get dirty.
Where's my enigma? Yay! I teleport.
Ready yourself for a unique elite scythe throw...
Nacho, throw that poison gas potion at him. Don't let him get away.
I'll mount quivers with 150 2h swords all having poison damage on my quad crossbows. (Using both hand and feet.)
(Did we derail this thread lawl.)
Damn you! This duel is not over.
I throw a health potion at you. You try to catch it. You let go of ur 2h swords.
I just let my cryptic axe with lightning damage fly... you are a goner now. DIE!
It gives more customization to split the stats on 2 items. For example if a rare item is limited to one aura. You would get 2 auras from 2 weapons/shield and 1 for a dual handed weapon.
Hmmm...I completely agree with emilemil1 on that one.

Sure enough, it gives more customization. But is it really needed? That's the question.
And the anwser is simple: no it's not needed. Why?
Because you don't slit 2H swords in 2 parts for more customization or 2h axes or polearms.
It's only creating more work for some slight customization that just makes the whole item interface more complicated.
Just have bows and crossbows 2H and leave the arrows behind, not everything needs recycling into D3.
U are forgetting something- bows and crossbows NEED arrows to work. Giving stat bonuses to arrows make them more interesting and offer more customization. And we are not going to be constantly changing arrow-types like some have claimed. Its like someone is having to constantly change swords depending on enemies.
Once u get arrows with some uber stats on them, u can roll on...just like with any weapons that is. Making them unlimited will be even sweeter. It makes even more sense because ranged fighters don't have quite the same incredible damage as a pure melee.
I agree about the arrows being a source of annoyance rather than adding to gameplay.
If there are arrows, I would like them to have special attributes like bows.
Example u can have arrow that already has some % of piercing attack and a chance to light ur foe on fire for example.
I think that arrows should benefit from some item bonuses. Of course ur quiver of special arrows will then have to be refillable.
Anyway just an idea how to make arrows less annoying.

Holy shit. Thats good. How about I throw a....hmmm...a quiver full of arrows...with at least 150 arrows in it...
I couldn't agree more.:)
