in D2, it was possible to get at 80-90% crit on barb with pretty much standard gear. capped at 95%.
but AR made it so that 95% shown on screen isnt the actual effective crit rate. it takes a lot of math to figure out the DPS in D2, and im hoping that D3 will have some advanced calculators to crunch the full, effective DPS - counting CS, elemental, and whatever else they have.
currently we (or I) dont know enough about the mechanics of hit to establish whether or not 50% cs is OP or not. things to consider: opponent def, block, and skills; your cth, skills, hit checks.
