Thank you for making this post. I've come to the same conclusion a while back when I had a beta tester help me confirm the combat mechanics in a different forum. Regardless of whether he was dead on with the math, it's really not hard to see how ridiculously good +% dmg and +% crit dmg is. Sigh...sometimes I doubt the abilities of Blizz devs. How could an average intelligent gamer not be able to tell how OP a skill that doubles your dmg is? How could they proclaim "customization" when we are forced to take +% dmg or +% dmg taken runes/skills in order to be competitive in dmg?
