You have to stop this MMO conversations..

MMO means a game that only playable online..Also MMOs have huge worlds and ten thousands of online players so it could be very funny.

    DIII won't be MMO.

But oh yes, World of Sanctuary will be teen rated MMO.
Good thing that there is not going to be a World of Sanctuary.

there was significantly more content in that post then you refer to.

if that is all you can see in my posts you are not worth my time.

    don't bother looking for expansions.

expansions are in fact a money making scheme.

in LOD the Dark Wanderer was slain if what i heard was correct.

the hero of Diablo was slain so that an expansion pack could be made.

to kill Baal. which nobody cared about in the first place.

i never played the expansion for several reasons.

start a thread, 'why i didn't buy the expansion' and i might have something to say about that.
.. You have never played the expansion, but you can say that expansions are nothing more than money making schemes? Idiot.

There can still be a male Amazon, they'd just have to change the name Amazon to something more neuter. There should be no arguments over what kind of character's they make until they make them though. Any class can be a male/female combination.
They're not going to change the name of the Amazon, because they're called Amazons, not "more feminine barbarians"

All this "building an image for Sanctuary," and "creating a world," seems to be quite MMOish to me. They have artwork of Skovos, yet you can't travel there? Something's fishy.

If you ask me, the Next-Gen MMO is Diablo related. Think about it, the next-gen MMO just started hiring positions last year. The game will take at least 4-5 years to develop - just enough time for Diablo III to start getting popular.
The artwork is for the developers to get a better idea of the world they're creating, and so they will have the option of adding it later on, either in a big patch (unlikely) or an expansion (likely).

There is not a Diablo mmo in the works.

The amount of idiots I see in Diablo fan sites is copious. Though the majority of them are 15-, so I shouldn't have such high expectations. There isn't going to be a Diablo MMO.

At the end of Diablo 3, Deckard Cain, before he dies, is going to tell you to stay a while and listen... And this is where he will speak the words, "Hero... I am your father."

I'm pretty sure Blizzard has said that project hydra is a different project from D3, SC2, and WotLK

Also the Triune Cultist isn't a monster, it's an enemy.

The Diablo 2 environment was completely static. So they could easily make an incredibly detailed environment without any performance hit.

    It's a bit different in Diablo 3.

I'm willing to bet 1-3 million subs the first 24 hours. Pretty big gap, but it's possible that Diablo III could beat BC's sales numbers.
you say that as if it's going to be a p2p game..

    ICI
That Cain dies in this game.

Please read the original post. The posts are not to be argumentative and you should post as though what you disagree with was never posted (i.e., it will not be pay to play). You also should not post redundant calls, somebody else has already posted that they feel there will not be subscription fees to play.

And to make this post useful, I'm calling that the magic class will be labeled as a Mage.
Also it wasn't redundant. I said that you were wrong, not that "DIII will not have p2p"

labeling the magic caster mage officially makes Diablo III a generic RPG.

That the graphics are placeholders and they were going to be updated weather you bitched or not.

that Deckard Cain is over 100 years old

that the Sorcer/or/ess is going to return.

That the Paladin is going to return. Though may not be called Palaldin, but Knight.

    I'm calling it:

Diablo III, Starcraft II, and WoTLK will all have monthly subscriptions. They may or may not be subscribed to in the following way:
Any combination of games may be played online for x # of $'s. Or, multiple games accrue discounts (i.e. 1 game online $15, 2 games $14, etc.)

Project Hydra is a double entendre representing Diablo and his 3 heads, as well as the attempt to control the gaming market.

    Data to support theory:
Battle.net 2.0 is purported to have voice chat. A reasonable excuse for Blizzard to charge.
    that this guy is wrong.

Dude, ok I don't play WoW I did when it first came out then I lost faith. But, I believe Blizzard knows SC and D2 is only successful because the community thats involved with them. I think they would more or less willing to bend over backwards to please D2 and SC customers because we are the backbone of Blizzards future.
World of Warcraft makes Blizzard 100 million dollars a month.

I don't think they really NEED SC and Diablo fans.

I find it hard to believe that someone cant find that small amount of money. I mean eat ramen noodles a few nights a month and bam save you some money. If you look for it im sure you can find something.
When you have your parents paying for every thing, 15-10 bucks may seem a small amount, but when you move out on your own, it's completely different.
