Aug 19, 2006ThatDude posted a message on Settled...?Posted in: NewsQuote from AcidReign »If Blizzard and Vivendi wants to dominate the gaming market they would need this:
One great MMO (World of Warcraft)
A couple great RTS's (StarCraft 2, Warcraft 4)
A couple great RPG's (Diablo III, ???????)
A couple great FPS's (StarCraft: Ghost, ???????)
I think Blizzard has enough talent and creativity to create a few new games, and I think they have potential to be very effective in producing a good FPS. They have good dedication to their games now, and they could probably hire a dedicated team to form new games with that pocket change they are making from WoW.
Making SC ghost a great FPS is not going to happen. But everything else fits. -

alot of our info comes from other sites... even blizzard.com has info... just not directly, but "the team behind diablo1 & 2 is looking for a programer to work on an unanounced rpg title" that kinda gives the hint
"Should we ever release a new patch" They wouldent of said that without 1.12 crossing their mind. -
Jul 19, 2006ThatDude posted a message on Settled...?You make a good point, SC GHost on the Wii with more interactive options with the "wiimote" would make a better game then if it were on the PS3 with the best graphics ever.Posted in: News

G4 covered the last blizzcon, but i wont think theyll cover this years because they usually advertise ALOT before they air something (i.e. E3 and comiccon (which was advertised durring E3). So G4 probably wont be doing Blizzcon this year. But anyway lets all hope for diablo 3! With diablo 3 and sc 2 coming out in the future i doubt ill have a social life anymore...
Anyway its good to be back on the good ol' forums guys.

Hellgate: London combines the depth of role-playing games with the action of first-person titles, while attempting to offer high replayability and an individualized gaming experience through dynamically created levels, monsters, items, and events. Players create a hero and then battle, with or without other players, through innumerable hordes of demons while completing quests and advancing through experience levels and branching skill paths. The developers have revealed the game will employ an advanced skill and spell system. It will also be highly item based, with customizable and randomly generated items for replayability and unique characters. Multiplayer will concentrate mostly on cooperative play.
