I used the Skeleton King art piece from the d3 blizzcon 2010 press kit. this epic painting I had to use. Cutting him out was tricky but turned out well. I had hoped to find a way to make it look like he was standing inside the circle and partially outside.

This came out exactly like i had hoped, and I finally recolored the nameplate. Shocking i know! I hope you all like.

posted a message on Two Year's of Fiery Runes and Wallpapers
Today marks my personal 2 year anniversary of the Fiery Runes Series. I first posted it on diablofans.com and diii.net back in 2008 after watching the hype unfold the week that the game was announced. A few weeks later i was tinkering with diablo images and thought you know what, lets make the d2 runes look like they were on fire.

First there were 4 that made the runeword Wrath, and then i went on to tweak the other 29 and decided to make a rune circle from them and the rest was history.

This time I commemorate this occasion with 10 new iPhone wallpapers. Larger wallpapers for the fiery runes series and others will be added later. The iPhone walls are linked below. if you like em fave em. Let me know what you think!

This is to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the announcement of Diablo 3 on June 28th 2008.

The diablo headshot this time around is by the artist Sansin using the program Zbrush. This amazing piece blew me away shortly past midnight on the 28th.

The original version of this piece is here. Give him some faves and comments this is an amazing piece of work for a diablo headshot. I would have loved to have this back when i created my first headshot on the tail end of the first fiery runes series.

Enjoy all and happy 2nd Diablo announcement Anniversary!

Finally back in the game again. This week i have utilized some of my lost wallpapers and cropped what i needed for the runebars from the last locations wallpapers. I will be doing this for this locations set for the time being until i can remake that which i lost: The Twilight Runes, and Dim Runes.

As always all art (C) Blizzard and the Concept Artist. The lost dim fiery runes made by me using Corel Photo Paint 8 with Alienware Eyecandy 4000.

Enjoy, and sorry I've been away for so long.

Greetings everyone it has been a while hasn't it. With Christmas coming I wanted to make a wallpaper. Sadly the image took more time than I planned and it arrived a day later. Oh well as the saying goes; "Better late than never."

With this wallpaper I went the extra mile in details. It may not look like much but this was a more detailed work for me adding to the original Goat Hill Tabern concept art. I removed all the outdoor structures save for the sign and a few stools and tables outside the building.

I tried to make this image as best as I could with the snow. Sorry it's a tad blurry on the larger sizes. The original concept art was small and I build the snow and everything from the original, and then blew the picture up. I'm not fond of doing this a lot but I hope it doesn't detract from the work I did. I will be posting the original sized version of the art in a fan art post soon.

The snow was the most time consuming aspect of this image. When I added it all; I was grateful that my computer didn't crash. I reworked this snow at least 3 times until later on when I was halfway done with the snow on the roof. Originally I used some of the texture from the ground to cover the buildings like they weren't there and do a simple recolor on top of the texture. Later I just painted white on top of it and got the result you see now.

The background behind the Tabern was from the original art, I just changed the color and what you see now was the final effect. The building and some of the side structures were painted around and cropped out so I could get the background effect. I made the background a blank gray so I could paint in some clouds, and maybe change some of the trees, but in the end the color effect was better.

In the end the runes were simple recolored like in the past instead of rebuilt like the Twilight Runes were in the last wallpaper. I wanted to make them red and green but the result of them being white instead was a better balance. I tried to also add a festive texture behind the map again but used an old stock texture and the map again like the Lut Bahadur wallpaper was. Over all; this piece took me at least 4 hours 3 of which were on the snow, and the other hour putting up with the slowness that is my computer. I hope to finally get a new one this next tax season.

I hope you all like this piece. I wanted to give something a little more for the community, and my fans. Plus I haven't made a Christmas wallpaper yet. Enjoy and I will see you next time, and hope you all had a great Christmas.

Greetings everyone, sorry I’ve been very sporatic with my wall art these last few weeks; I have been very busy with work, and all. This week as planned is the Barbarian; this wall was a lot tougher than the other class walls. Reason being the right background image I chose a simple snowfall image and faded it in the background. I also was trying to use different art for the barb, because many images I have of the barb have been over used. Something fresh was in order.

This will be my last wall in Series Two, as I now try to build a newer and better style of a nameplate for Series Three. Thanks to those who have enjoyed my walls over the last few months, and I look forward to blowing your minds in the future with series three.

There will be no new Fiery Runes wall art for the next two weeks; I will post other wallpaper in the meantime. Thanks guys see you soon!
