I like the heathglobe idea, keeps you fighting and you have to use stratagy when fighting not just pressing the potion button 20 times when taking down bosses

Did anyone else catch what they were saying about adding to the difficulty more than in D1 or D2? Do they mean that there will be more difficulties? i dont know but i thought playing through the game 3 times was enough.

I think Blizzard is doing a great job on the game so far. And why do you what the game to be black and white, if i remember correctly D2 was a very colorful game. The only place i can think of that was black and white were the town in act 3 and 5, everything else was colorful

I'm not 100% positive but I thought that in Act 5 Tyrial tells you that the Worldstone is the link between the Mortal Realm and Heavan/Hell. I am currenly playing through D2 again so I will update when I find it. But can anyone verify?

Ok so this is from Wiki

During the end of Act 5, Tyrael destroys the Worldstone in order to prevent Baal from corrupting it any further. He claims that this will prevent the forces of hell from flooding into the mortal world - by destroying the Worldstone, its uncorrupted energies will be released and spread throughout the world of Sanctuary, thus maintaining the boundaries between Sanctuary, the High Heavens, and Hell. As Tyrael is probably the angel pictured on Diablo III's website, it is likely that Tyrael and the consequences of the Worldstone's destruction will play a major role in that game.

Olk, first i love the Necro so dont think i'm just saying this to be a hater or something. But, in the GameSpot interview: http://www.gamespot.com/video/930659/6193139/diablo-iii-interview he says that the Witch Doctor is similar to the D2 Necro. And knowing Blizzard they are not going to add 2 classes that are similar to each other in a game that will be release with only 5 classes to choose from.

I think it's very possible, and a good idea to boot. I just wish people would stop freaking out about them leaving out the Necromancer, or the Witch Doctor replacing him. They say in the official FAQ that it will not.

In the FAQ it says that they will not what?

I think the weapons showing DPS (like Wow) would be very helpful. I remember D2 only told you the attack speed of the weapons as "Fast Attack Speed, Normal Attack Speed, ect"

i think its something thats actually older then the prime evils, like you just said, they are coming from a place where the demons were once defeated, but if it is unkown/forgotten, it was most likely by demons and such that are from ages past. So... diablo's got a dada?

Very possible... Father of the 3 Brothers might explain the 3 heads, but just a thought

I believe the Three-Headed Demon is Diablo because it seems the portrait of this Diablo is based from the novel, Divine Comedy. In Dante's Inferno, Satan (Diablo) is frozen in the center of a lake in the 9th level of Hell who is eternally chewing/torturing on three corrupted humans. Brutus and Cassius, Betrayers of Julius Caesar, and Judas, Betrayer of Jesus. They were consumed by Satan and became the three heads from within him. So I can safely say that Blizzard chose the right portrait for Diablo.

If thats true (i never read the books) then i think that has to be what it is. But how was Diablo frozen in the lake if he is killed and soulstone destroyed in D2?

Also this would explain y Blizzard had the splach art of the demond breaking out of the ice.

well considering Belial and Azmodan were fighting for ruler ship of hell, why are you so sure its Belial? and i suggest you take a listen to Izual it hints at what really happened. if anyone could post what he says it would be great

and we were really never told what the world stone did, however its probably correct that it was making it hard for both angels and demons to reach sanctuary.

In Act 5 of D2 Tyrial tells you that the WorldStone connects the Mortal Realm to the Spirit Realm. That is why after he destroys the Worldstone I didn't think demonds or angels could go back and forth to heaven/hell and earth.

In one of the interveiws Blizzard talks about the demons in D3 coming from a place in Sanctuary where they were once defeated but noboby knew about it, not even Cain. I believe thats where they are in the gameplay video when the Barb finds Decard Cain reading through the old books. Blizzard also said in an interview that "You're not sure its Diablo." So is that a hint that there won't even be Diablo in Diablo 3?? I believe that there Blizzard is going to have to introduce a new "Prime Evil" that has not been mentioned in any other Diablo game so far.
