Very interesting indeed.
Thinking about the trophy case...
My UDIE2 mod editor has an item store in it and it has all manner of odd things that you can't put in game. Such as an ear, tail, fang, horn, elixir, etc. There are also some quest items in game like the golden bird, the organs, horadric scroll, etc.
Maybe that was supposed to be a vault to keep the items after you've completed quests. As for the items that never made it in game, maybe they were things that were cut due to "time constraints."
Regardless it still doesn't explain the chat gem. -,-

I think it would be great if they had a My Little Pony Secret Level but I don't want a t-shirt like that. It is funny but nothing I would spend money to have. -
Oct 11, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Character Stat AssigningDamn I don't even know what to say about this. This blows my mind and not in a good way. I always liked the fact that I could use charms and gear bonuses to give me the strength needed to wear my gear so I could pump my vita up. I always thought it was great to mow down hordes of monsters while some kid in the back is hollering "Where is your gear? Are you naked?" It was always a challenge to squeeze every last bit of strength from charms and such to make my toon fully strength glitched. I sacrificed precious inventory space to make my builds happen. I guess on the bright side now I can just load up on mf charms(if they even exist in d3) and mow through the hordes while Blizzard tells me what items I should wear. Pitiful what this game is becoming. Next up...auto skill distribution. This is a bad bad thing. I am having trouble seeing the positives of this system.Posted in: News

Oct 10, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on New Class Announced: The WizardOne spell I haven't seen named but am 99.9% sure it will be on the wizard is "Blizzard" It just wouldn't be a blizzard game without that spell available. Who knows maybe I am wrong about it being on the wizard but it will surely be in the game. You can quote me on that.Posted in: News

Oct 10, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on New Class Announced: The WizardAww man this is killing me. I am at work and the firewall blocks all videos and links. I only saw the char selection screen. I already know what class I will be. Wizard. Hands down. I love being the caster class. My first chars were always the caster type. I haven't even had a chance to see what all this fuss is about but I am sure as shit I will be a female wizard as soon as I get this game installed. Now that they have satisfied me the hard part begins. Picking a name for my little chica. I can't wait to get home and watch the new gameplay vid and all the screenshots.Posted in: News

Aug 18, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on MTV - ‘Diablo III’ Designer Describes How Game Will Appeal To ‘Diablo’ Fans And BroadI don't know about this title anymore. The longer I sit here reading the news and thinking about it, The less I look forward to playing it. I just feel like it will be so much different and not in a good way. I was so excited the day they announced it I couldn't get rid of my stiffy but now it seems the honeymoon is already over before there was a chance to acquaint myself. I can deal with the graphics, I can deal with the colorful environment, I can deal with new characters. I don't know maybe I just can't deal with all this negativity that follows Diablo 3. It's starting to turn me off. I can almost see myself just getting the game to beat it and check the story out then hopping back on D2. I may have to force myself to like it just to get through it.Posted in: News

Jul 8, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPPosted in: NewsQuote from "HaF_613" »PK'ing and Dueling are essential parts of Diablo, Especially in HC where I played. It adds a certain fear and adrenaline rush to the game and keeps you on your toes... I don't think the Diablo I style PK'ing should be brought back, but definately keep the D2 style. I don't think the game would be fun for so long without the PK and "PKK's" out there. Its a whole other element and it was always one of the things that kept my heart beating fast. Don't take that away. It was fair enough to give people a chance in d2 and it should remain that way.
I agree playing on hardcore and being hostile definitely made my browneye pucker a little. I have been both pker and pked. You win some you lose some but it definitely added a certain element that is missing from alot of games. If people want to say it is a waste of time and detracts from the main point of game, I ask this. Isn't playing a game a big waste of time in itself? I feel it is. I have wasted many years on D2 already and one of the things I enjoy is being able to fight my friends as well as random people. The only kind of pker I am not fond of are the hacker ones that tppk. That crap is just cheap. However it is quite fun to have a hostile mf game. I hope they keep some form of pvp in the game even if it a certain area in town that you must be in to attack your opponent. -
Jun 29, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Diablo III Denizens of Diablo PanelDo they intend to retain the 3 tier difficulty: Normal, Nightmare and Hell? If so, do they plan to make Hell difficulty harder or possibly add another level of difficulty such as Armaggedon/Apocalypse?Posted in: News
What might the max character levels be?
What plans do they have for getting Beta keys out to people like me?
I'd really like one of those. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Honestly, I still play D2 like 6 hours a day regardless. On the weekends sometimes more. For D3, my ass will be planted long after it goes numb for a few weeks I assume.

I agree. There will most certainly be areas of light in the game. It can't be an endless night. That would grow old quick. As for the 3d aspect of the game. I like it very much. In D2, where all the walls meet there are sharp corners, all of the ground is flat for the most part, save for the occasional set of stairs. Now they have rounded it out, added hills as well as ladders and such to climb as we've seen in the gameplay vid. It gives it a more realistic feel. Overall I feel that blizzard knows what they are doing. I will play the game regardless. I just wanna kick Diablo's ass again and again and again and....well you get the point

Another thing that happened to me was trying to trade anni for anni. I guess you can't trade it in the screen so you must drop. I dropped mine. Dude came over and started juggling mine. All the while I am trying to grab it as I here the sound of the anni repeatedly hitting the ground. His friend came in somehow got the anni and they left without so much as a word. As heartbroken as I was I just laughed. Damn hackers!!

By the way that is pretty damn funny that your guild/clan was STD.
Don't ask me for free items. That is the surest way to never get a thing from me. I don't care for beggars.

I hated the fact you could just stroll to max level in D2 like it was nothing.
since before they introduced the annihilus charm. after that little charm came into play, levels were easier to attain if my memory serves me correctly.

I think they were demonstrating weapon swap with the scroll of the mouse wheel. To point out the ease of play and to drive home the point that if you can click a mouse you can play D3. Correct me if I am wrong.

I agree wholeheartedly. The game is still in development. I am happy with what I have seen so far. I do see areas they could improve upon but I shall not state them. Let the masterminds at Blizzard work their magic. Oh I can't wait to smell that package.

First and foremost: RELEASE DATE!!!???
2: Will complete sets alter the appearance of a character? (e.g. Trang set)
3: What new and interesting crafting/cube recipes will Blizzard throw our way?
4: What new runes and runewords will be available? *thinking* there still is an undiscovered runeword for diablo 2 I believe.
5: As of yet there seems to be no necro. Will they bring them back in a later expansion?
6: Will there be an option to bring D2 chars into D3? I'd hate to abandon my Hdin but if I need to so be it.
7: What will the loot system be like?
I have so many more questions. I am very excited at this news, I have been waiting forever for this. I am glad to start waiting some more for the game to actually land on the shelves. Wait eff that I seriously doubt my copy will touch a shelf. I shall be there to collect it as they pull it out the packing box

I for one could care less about the graphics as it sits now. As we all know the game is in early development. I have waited long enough for the announcement alone. I have faith that blizzard will not deliever us a piece of crap after all this time. I have faith!
