    Failing at what?
edit: ooooh, it was a simple case of you not being able to read and taking offence to my post, considering it was meant for the one above it. and just to save more embarassment from you, we posted at the same time. this way you won't make an half-assed attempt at proving yourself wrong. gj. take your own advice and stop failing

Hmmm? I didn't take offense to your post, I was just saying that you should stop getting your ass kicked by teleporting Sorc's then screaming nerf because you don't have the skill to counter it. By skill I don't mean your characters skill, more so your lack of said brain. Though I agree that no other classes should be allowed to teleport, minus the Sorc of course and by inducing a restriction to it would be absolutely retarded because this would make the Sorc very easily killable by just about anyone.

Or.. if they reworked how teleport functions and limited rune words from having such great capabilities, they wouldn't have to remove them altogether.

Or.... You could learn how to stop failing?

I played diablo 2 for a long time, and LoD for awhile but I guess I missed some later patches. I never really had a problem with the sorceress being able to teleport. I played an amazon is my main and I never really had a problem with it pvp-wise or PVE wise. Like.. Just never had a problem with it lol, they sped the pace up sure, other than that I dont see what the problem is. Maybe my amazon had too much good gear and could keep up with them I duno.

Same with my Barb, if Sorc's didn't have teleport, or if there was some inducing limit on how the skill was used - Sorc's would be delicious fresh meat and easily the most underpowered class considering my Barb was very fast, did A LOT of damage, had insane resists and could not be slowed - yeah no TP = GFG.

um... a number greater than the other...

I was under the impression most players were on closed.

Me too, playing open was just a waste of time.

kicks can be intelligent, to avoid things like this. in americas army if you try to kick someone for ROE (rules of engagement violations) and they havent killed/hurt someone on your team it says quite plainly ''that player has no ROE'' and thus cannot be kicked

Great.... That won't work in Diablo, worthless feature is worthless.

This whole thing does seem a little odd, but I guess we'll find out later what really happened, or never at all.

I see a big cross on the map, a party member must be close. Oh look, he is the one that looks nothing like the horde of monsters I am fighting, and oh what this?! he cannot be hurt by my attacks. This being must be what the big cross denotes.

Sorry if it wasn't obvious, I was referring to a PvP environment - not all of us enjoy farming loot 24/7. I also never stated that it would be impossible to find a Witch Doctor in a crowd of undead in the heat of battle, it just wouldn't be easy on the eyes and seeing them on your mini-map wouldn't help jack.

Krauser - What if they dont have the technology to do that?

I think 8-12 would be ideal. I like having a few more players, as it allows there to be multiple groups, or even group type pvp. Even if we never ran into each other, I thought it was kinda neat to know there are other people or groups running around killing stuff in the same game im in.

Of course, they have games that can fit over 100 players on your screen, but asking for 16-20 would be out of the question due to technological issues :P, I think 12 sounds pretty ideal actually.

how does that make it fun for the people that want to pvp?

I think there should be a large limit but allow the creator of the game to set the amount cap from large to small to appease the loners that like to play with two people.

HUH?! Did we forget about a little thing called an Automap? Last time I check pother players names and markers showed up on that thing.

Yeah and that's obviously not the point, how would seeing him on the mini-map actually help you depict a Witch Doctor in a crowd of zombies? It wouldn't, it would only tell you that he's there.

It all depends on how big the world actually is, I find that 4-5 is quite the small number, I was hoping it would be at least 10.

This is horrible news. Hopefully the new art director can adapt to the art style or else we're going to have clashing art all over the place.

Pretty lame move to quit in the middle of a project just to start your own company.

    It's all about money now-a-days.

You are blindly trusting Blizzard and taking everything they are offering to you.

Gamers gotta fight to get the best of games, not accept everything that game devs throw in front of them.

Here's where you fail, It's already the best game to me so I don't have to fight for anything. I don't have a single issue with Blizzard on how the development of Diablo III is going thus far. Right, you guys fought REAL hard and where did that get you? No where, why? Because there's nothing wrong with Diablo III, if that's a problem go back to Diablo II and don't buy this game, no one is going to hold your hand nor care what you decide. If Blizzard constantly listened to people like you, they'd be bankrupt. Are you sure that I'm the blind one? It seems you're the one that's got your head so far up your ego that you feel the right to tell Blizzard how to make their own game is soley yours, shame welcome to life, it doesn't work like that.

Agreed. They can be explained in any manner of ways, from an embodiment of the demon's life force, to orbs full of rich, tasty courage.

I get don’t what this massive controversy is all about, I mean a health-orb – it’s going to make the game better, they never said potions would be replaced by these. What makes a magical-life-like-essence so unthinkable in a world run by magic and demons, again I just think people are bitter because they’re not getting a D2 clone. That goes for the inventory Tetris debate, people are saying that it’s repulsive and terrible, but how? They have no valid argument.

That's the lamest way of saying "we don't want to bear additional costs to give diablo 3 a new artistic direction as screamed by thousands of diablo 2 fanatics."

Blizzard could have made the environment darker and the characters more saturated and detailed to propel the character at the center of attention.

Instead they chose the easier way. That's pathetic :P

Boo-hoo, I hear the wambulence coming! Of course, Blizzard is pathetic because you didn't get what you wanted.

@Metal, I agree that it's good for the evolution of gameplay, but don't you think the object is a bit out of place? Surely there must be something more fitting for the Diablo universe than some crazy orb that pops out. I'm thinking of something a bit more medieval and less from outer space.

How are orbs crazy and outer spacish? They're clearly spectral, they make more sense than let's say a health potion dropping out of a mummy's ass.
