Seraph, what is the "bonus track" for Diablo that is mentioned in this article? Is it on the cds for both versions or just the DVD of the Legendary Edition?

Tis... rather good. Cept no one else seems to have it as there are no entries in the CDDB for it and I'm too lazy to add them myself!

If you have the standard edition, please take digital pics and upload them so we can see what the jewel-case, and book are like for this edition.

Have you ever heard of "Distant Worlds"? It is a orchestral tour of Final Fantasy music. The composer of the game music, Nobuo Uematsu, usually visits the concerts from Japan. I saw it in Chicago earlier this year and it was excellent. They have a cd they sell at shows and on their website. You would probably enjoy it!

Since Fantasy Flight Games holds the license to boardgame versions of Blizzard's PC games, would you like to see one based on Diablo? They already have World of Warcraft and Starcraft boardgames.

I would and here is why!

1. They have two dungeon-hack boardgames already. (DOOM & Descent). These are somewhat like Diablo although not random.
2. They also have the rights to all Games Workshop Boardgames such as Talisman and Warhammer Quest. Warhammer Quest came out at about the same time or a little before Diablo and is very much like Diablo. It has random dungeons, random quests, and co-op gameplay. Even the game-board is reavealed with dice rolls and a huge manual so is never the same. They could adapt Diablo into Diablo Quest.

What do you guys think? Email them saying that you want a Diablo boardgame. I already have!

Seems like you are tied to the project which is cool. Can you please post a pic of the standard edition case? I don't think Gamestop or anyone is getting this so I'll have to order directly from you guys and I can't make up my mind until I see the actual standard jewel-case.

Guess I'll wait and see the standard package this week when the WOW expansion comes out. I hear they are selling it alongside that expansion.

Personally, I'd rather have a super-jewel case if that means the kind of case the Led Zeppelin's mother-ship comes in. I only want it for the Diablo music anyway.

My friends and I are playing Diablo II every Sunday night until Diablo III launches. Then we will switch to Diablo III!

I've been playing these games since Diablo1 launched and they never get old. The only game I like as much is Phantasy Star Online(Gamecube) which also has random-levels and many Diablo-style elements.

I would like to know about the packaging. Pictures of the actual products would be nice. The stock images show you nothing.

-Does it come in a box or hardcoverbook?
-Do the 2CDs/1DVD each have their own jewel case or paper-sleeves?

Standard
-Does it come in a cardboard digipack case or hardcover book?
-Or does it some kind of box with individual jewel-cases, a double jewel-case, or paper-sleeves inside box?

This reminds me of the awesome Final Fantasy Distant Worlds orchestrated cd that came out this year. It has orchestrated music from FFI-XI that they played on the Distant Worlds concert tour which was awesome!!! With that said, I wish it was all Diablo!
