Quote fromOmg people what is the sense of making healer class in Diablo?
Play Singleplayer then with him. I'm sure he won't base on healing skills or similar.
Why makes you think that he is a healer of any sort?

Quote from "Ghidoran" »I'm guessing this is what became of the Dervish class they had, which was scrapped because people would have go, "WTF's a Dervish?"
The Dervish was apparently going to be Middle Easern-ish. You know, Lut Gholein. The Monk might be the same, or it might be Xiansai(or w/e you spell it).

I think that the only 'real' book I've read recently, as I'm assuming comics, mangas, news stories, etc, don't count...

I was wondering what would happen if you used sss when no enemies were around. How long is the cooldown, if you remember?

I Started posting regularly after the Monk was 'leaked' to try and convince people it wasn't fake. Before that I just lurked around.
I hardly play d2 nowadays, but when I did I played Hardcore and often ridiculous characters. [Speed Barb, Staff Barb, etc.]

I'm glad shrines are returning, I just hope they make sure they don't add in useless ones (Exploding shrine, I'm looking at you)
Do you think that the +.06 attacks per second is a different way of saying Increased attack speed?

That's because it's not an in-between cinematic
It was just a rough trailer they put together, like the wizard, to quickly show what the character would be about.

Yeah... too bad it'll never happen.
Luckily I have college to keep me occupied until then... ugh.

I don't own anything apple, though.

I think you just gave me my first Wizardess name. (wizardess?)

Monk isn't a terribly original name... but to be fair, none of the classes have original names... Amazon, Paladin, Barbarian... etc.
It is a Shaolin warrior monk, not a church monk. A holy warrior, if you will, which would explain his martial arts (Barbarian aspect) and magic (Magic aspect)
The cinematic trailer's graphics were... a disappointment. But it was amusing, to me, at least.
But the OP wasn't talking about the cinematic trailer, but the 12 minute long gameplay trailer.
I'm not quite understanding how you're comparing Guild Wars, an MMO (Sort of), to Diablo, an Action-RPG, but to each his own.
Although I can't, nor shall I attempt to dissuade your current opinion of Diablo III I hope at least give it a chance instead of ditching it before it comes out, if only for the fact that you were a fan of the first two.

But this looks freaking amazing

No, the drops you see are for you to pick up, but that doesn't mean that the drops you see are only for your class...
Example
Let's say there is a barb and a wd both killing a unique
The barbarian might see a sword, shield and a wand drop, while the wd might see a helmet and a greataxe.
The barbarian cant see the wd's greataxe, but the wd can trade it to the barbarian since the wd, in all likelihood, cant use a greataxe.
Likewise, the WD wont see the barbarians wand drop, but the barb can pick it up and trade it to the WD.
