We've already got our fix of female bobyduilder in the form of the female barbarian. Why do we need a second one?Quote from "FistOfZakarum" »She has better be at least visually muscled so i can believe that she has the monks speed.
We'll let the Diablo development team worry about the balancing and I'm confident they are aware of priorities during the game development phase. Your initial reaction (or shall I say over-reaction) that a minor game improvement leads to an 'epic fail' was uncalled for.Quote from "badger2d" »Oi, chill the fanboy heat. This subject just ain't worth that kind of stress.
Simple fact: if you take one simple system, and then replace it with four or five brand new and probably a bit more complex ones, you're creating a headache of balancing for yourself. It's just a whole hell of a lot more work on a pretty minor part of the game. I'm not excited about how I'm going to manage my mana. I'd rather see that large extra amount of work spent on spells, monsters, locations, story, etc.
Can you shed more light as to how a gameplay improvement triggers a 'potential for epic fail'? The differentiated energy sources for each character ensures a higher degree of replayability, even better than Diablo 2. This is a blatant proof that Blizzard have learnt from their past mistakes and are working towards delivering the best game in the Diablo franchise.Quote from "badger2d" »Gotta say that on the surface, I don't care for this. Making every character's "mana" work a little differently is just creeping complexity for its own sake. By tinkering with something that already works fine, for no other goal that I can see but a minimal addition of flavor, there's a ton of potential for epic fail and hardly any upside.

I'm currently conducting an online survey on viral marketing for my final year dissertation. It would be great if you can participate in the said survey. It takes between 10 and 15 minutes to be completed. Your input will be highly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Leah (Cain's daughter) foresees future events and has troubles to believe in her psychic power intially. She has premonitions about the meteorite which shortly after hits the New Tristram Cathedral and falls into its depths. This will reinforce Lea's beliefs that she can definitely foresee future events and pushes her to warn the people dispersed across the World of Sanctuary of the impending invasion by the Burning Hells.
Angel Imperius will attempt to bring his agenda from the Sin Wars to fruition - the destruction of the World of Sanctuary (which he believes is the result of Angel Inarius's corruption) - by conditionally ressurecting the Prime Evils - Diablo, Mephisto and Baal.
As the story unfolds, the Prime Evils recognise that they do not stand a chance to destroy the World of Sanctuary individually (since all the tribes/ clans gathered forces after Leah's forewarnings). They thus decide to combine their forces by fusing into one (hence explaining the three-headed demon, Diablo 3.0 if you will).
It will therefore be the heroes's destiny to initially prevent Imperius from ressurecting the Prime Evils (after Tyrael fails to do so). The heroes manage to kill Imperius at the end of Act III but fail to stop him from ressurecting the prime evils. They will eventually have to slaughter the new shiny Diablo in the final act to prevent the World of Sanctuary from being annihilated.

From the looks of it, I'd say that the Arreat Crater and Dreadlands have not been revisited by people of other regions after the World Stone was destroyed. It makes sense that some of the surviving barbarians fled to Bastion's keep after Mount Arreat crumbled. The Dreadlands look like the perfect place to fight Diablo in Act Iv.

Act I - Lucion
Act II - Belial (confirmed)
Act III - Imperius
Act IV - Diablo (Logical conclusion)
It would not make much sense if we defeat Belial (who rules half of the Burning Hells) in Act II and then Azmodan (who rules the other half of the Burning Hells) since the story focuses on the impending invasion of sanctuary. An invasion is not feasible when there is no one to lead the minions from hell.
Imperius will play a major part in ressurecting Diablo in my opinion.

Mother Nature
Wind Howl - The Mystics can call upon the winds to create confusion and instill fear among enemies.
Entrapment - The Mystics can use the soil, sand or mud to trap their enemies.
Meteorite - The Mystics turn to the skies to harm enemies through meteorite showers.

Is the disparity between artwork and real in-game graphics a hot issue for the Diablo development team?
Will there be more randomness in monsters' animation, a.i. and visual traits (height, colour, etc) in the final game?

It certainly looks like some kind of siege or assault by minions from hell. The question is what are they attacking? Can it be heaven? Or is it simply one of the cities in the World of Sanctuary?
