I was actually bored of D2 I think four or five years ago, but thanks for making the assumption D2 hell mode was a breeze with dupped items and LoD. Play through first time without any saved gear and it wasn't a cakewalk. Same applies to D3, I didn't buy one thing from the AH and I personally found that I actually started to die. I bought some cheap crap in late hell mode and yes it became a cakewalk after that.

I find it amusing you actually think skill is a major factor to play D3, it's mainly gear driven just like D2 and D1. It's sure fun though, just not complex.

for the moment you need a Guest pass to be able to download the starter edition

if someone gives me a guest pass and i just use it to see if diablo 3 will work on my computer if i stop playing they can still use the guest pass for their friends right? or the guest pass a 1 time thing?

in the future theres going to be a post, players comming back after 1.0.5 and its going to be just as tedious of a thread.

the very first look of diablo 3 was COMPLETELY different, looked like a completely different game, then they changed it again in the beta pictures, as of between the beta and now, not sure how much it changed.

its not that surprising, your forgetting this is a randomly generated game, never the same twice, thats the whole point.

its a conspiracy, they nerfed champ packs under our noses because they figured out the loot routes

i think its the way item affixes are generated, if you go to the character builder site where you can give your self items, and skills and see your stats, once you pick a main affix if you go to pick a second affix a lot of the affixes you had to choose from previously will not be there, so you cant have certain combos, therefor decreasing your chance of these affix combinations being good, but maybe everyone already knew that, or maybe im wrong, i dont know, this is just from what i have studied from the character builder site.

i agree with what you said, a lvl63 item should be better even with less magic properties/affixes

I hope thats the fix they are talking about, gold exploit nerfs sound like it could be a very bad thing if done incorrectly

maybe you just got lucky, or found a good farming route, or magic find increased bug?
maybe there were more people in the game, and it effects magic find in ways un announced.
